@@everglowKH Looking forward to Part two whenever it comes out and not sure where you are at but you think you can rearrange the Maleficent and Pete meet Dark Riku cutscene and either have it either during the beginning of the video before Sora, Donald, and Big Hero 6 see the Darkubes or have it placed before the cutscene with Sora and the gang + Hiro and Big Hero 6 regrouping at the Garage when Hiro discusses on how he recognized Baymax’s combat chip and how he thinks the original Baymax is back? I think it’s due to the fact that the scene with Maleficent meeting Dark Riku happened at night while the scene with Hiro discussing about the Combat Chip and the original Baymax being brought back by Dark Riku before discovering the news report of "Mysterious Monsters Renew Attack" on the computer happened during the daytime.
Correct me if I’m wrong but apparently this world was actually requested by Disney and/or Roy Conli (the producer of Big Hero 6) to be added into _Kingdom Hearts III_ at the last minute when Nomura and his team were finishing finalizing the worlds for the game. However, because Nomura didn’t had time to create gameplay footage of San Fransokyo (due to the levels complexity and a last minute add-in) he only made a concept art of Sora and Baymax battling the Original Baymax when the world was announced at D23 2015. And it made sense cause when KH3 entered development in 2013 under the Luminous Engine until it restarted development in October 2014 under the Unreal Engine 4, people assumed that _Frozen_ was going to be the cutoff of as a world when the film came out and the most recent film implemented but thanks to KH3 restarting development in October 2014 it was roughly around that time that Disney requested to include _Big Hero 6_ and that was around December 2014/January 2015 following the film’s release when it was included and the final world cutoff in _Kingdom Hearts III_ which Nomura did confirmed in an interview at D23 2017 that Big Hero 6 (San Fransokyo) was the final Disney world cutoff. Speaking of recent Disney films implemented as worlds during development Even the same can be said for _Kingdom Hearts II_ and especially _Dream Drop Distance_ Disney world cutoffs respectively. _Kingdom Hearts II_ entered development in December 2002/January 2003 and the first Pirates of the Caribbean film was included as a world in the game and was the most recent Disney film implemented, and with _Dream Drop Distance_ entered development in early 2010 following the release of _Birth By Sleep_ and _Tron: Legacy_ was released in December of 2010 but the film was released in Japan in April of 2011, so DDD’s world cutoff was in late 2010/early 2011 for _Tron: Legacy’s_ Inclusion in the game, cause in interviews by Nomura, both him and the development staff had to re-watch the movie when it was still in theaters when they were creating The Grid. Since _Kingdom Hearts IV_ likely started development either after the KH3 ReMind (early 2020) or around mid-late 2020, then the likely cutoff for KHIV’s Disney worlds is roughly late 2021/early 2022 with either _Raya and the Last Dragon_ and/or _Encanto_ being the most recent Disney films implemented as worlds in _Kingdom Hearts IV,_ It just will depend if Kingdom Hearts IV had already started development back in 2020/2021 and whether Nomura and his team had just finished with their Disney world selection 2-3 years ago and when was the year cutoff.
Considering that _Big Hero 6_ also has a television series set after the events of the movie much like _Kingdom Hearts III’s_ story of San Fransokyo also being set after the movie I don’t think that both the show and KH3 are set in the same continuity and timeline considering but more than likely set in different universes and continuities with each other considering that in the show aside from some brand new characters (e.g. Minimax) and villains (e.g. Obake): 1. Hiro and the gang still attend San Fransokyo Tech Institute and graduated by the end of the third season while in _Kingdom Hearts III_ they are recognized as heroes and also aren’t utilizing the silver chrome suits from Season 2/Season 3. 2. In the episode, "Portal Enemy" after Hiro was facing against Sirque and while he was enhancing footage of his portal travels with Sirque he sees The Original Baymax’s (the one made by Tadashi) body floating adrif and still remains in the other dimension while in _Kingdom Hearts III_ Hiro soon finds out on the Original Baymax being brought back through Dark Riku when he brought the Darkubes 3. Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley who worked on the Television series revealed they weren’t involved in San Fransokyo’s story in _Kingdom Hearts III_ considering that the TV show was done at Disney Television Animation whereas Walt Disney Animation Studios did the film and were heavily involved with San Fransokyo’s story and having it set after the Big Hero 6 film. Even same can be said with _Monsters at Work_ and Monstropolis story in _Kingdom Hearts III_ both set after the events of Monsters Inc, but set in separate universes and continuities considering how Randall’s return was handled.
While it may not be the most fleshed out world gameplay or exploration-wise, I think Sanfransokyo does a lot for both Sora's character as well as the potential for cities in the future of Kingdom Hearts. On Sora's character, Sora has been treated differently in KH3 compared to his past appearances, almost treated with less respect, but respect that gradually increases as he develops throughout the game. In Kingdom of Corona, he's treated as a "sidekick" and in Toy Box he's distrusted by Buzz, probably the first time a party member has started with distrust towards Sora in the whole series (maybe Captain Jack in 2, but it's shown less). Moving on to Monstropolis and Arendele, he's just an "exterminator" in Monstropolis, and actually has to be saved by Sully at the end of the world. Then in Arendele, he basically has no impact on the story except to keep people safe; the cast solves their problems for them. Then we get to the Carribean, and with Sora becoming more experienced, so too does his respect among the cast. He's well-respected by Elizabeth, Will, and even Jack, and when he gets his own ship and comes to the rescue of the Pearl against the Kraken, his apperance is well-received. He's finally a "captain," and is treated as one. Finally, now we're in Sanfransokyo, and what does Sora do? Immediately proves his experience and talent to the Superheroes of this world, performing the tasks that the heroes of this world can't do. But instead of just solving their problems for them, Sora is invited to help the Big Hero 6 team improve themselves, going through the Flash Tracer track to inspire new ideas and improve the team. He's acting as a leader should: inspiring, teaching, and motivating his team to do better. This lends itself well to a line Sora gives to Xehanort down the line, about leadership. I know there's some controversy behind that line, but we'll get there. In the meantime, I think this world is an excellent one for Sora's character. As for the world itself in gameplay and exploration, it's not as good as the Carribean, but it's still fun. The verticality stands out greatly to me, standing on the wind turbines is such an exciting piece, and the world has enough variance and setpieces to be fun to return to. If Square improves on this for future games, keeping the verticality but adding more varied locations and sidequests within the city, I think we've got a great future formula on our hands.
This is a great comment, honestly. Also, just like how San Fransokyo shows the potential for modern-esque cities in KH, I feel like Kingdom of Corona shows the potential for medieval fantasy cities in KH: Population, architecture, layout, etc. (Kind of like if Castle Town from Fragmentary Passage wasn't in the Realm of Darkness.)
Honestly San Fransokyo had the *STRONGEST* story from all the Disney worlds in the game but when compared to the original stories for Toy Box and Monstropolis respectively it felt “rushed” compared to the former two. That isn't to say the story was terrible but it went from one conflict then another and was over after you completed it (SDG helping Big Hero 6 combat the Heartless in San Fransokyo in the first act then stop the original Baymax that Dark Riku brought back in the final act). I also expected more from the world itself such as exploring more on the San Fransokyo Bridge 🌉, going to Fred’s House, the San Fransokyo Tech institute or going to the Lucky Cat café instead of getting Hiro’s Garage (which is a small room) and a ¼ of the San Fransokyo City (which is just a Large Square) Finally, the lack of other party members. I’m a bit disappointed that Baymax is the *ONLY* party member in this world. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a good useful party member for Sora but honestly it still baffles me as to WHY we don't get the other members of the team (Go Go, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Wasabi), particularly Go Go and Honey Lemon as Party members? They all have unique powers and abilities during combat and their movset is vastly different from the party members we got in KH3 (e.g. Hercules, Woody, Sulley, Jack Sparrow, Rapunzel, etc..) along with the fact they would help add diversity in the party member roster for Sora, but were just tossed aside in favor of Baymax by Nomura and the team. 😕 It gets me more concerned if we wound up getting an Incredibles world in the next KH game and the ONLY party member we get is just ONLY Mr. Incredible but not the other members of his family. Overall a fun world but not as Impressive as the Caribbean and Olympus in terms of Level Design. Speaking of the Incredibles I’m honestly glad that Big Hero 6 was chosen over The Incredibles, because the second film came out in 2018 a year before KH3 and if we end up getting an Incredibles world in a future KH game I can envision it taking place after the second film considering that the ending of _Incredibles 2_ resulted in superheroes being legal to the public eye once again and I can imagine this being a successor to San Fransokyo but it’s likely going to be Marvel or Quadratum considering Nomura doesn’t want to repeat worlds with similar environments and themes.
I find it odd that you're allowed to use Baymax's attack at the start before he installs the new combat data. Nice choice in the Schwarzgeist music, too.
It’s finally time for Big Hero 6!!! I love how they got Khary as Wasabi again (loved his performance on Big Hero 6 The Series, and I love the show) and exploring San Fransokyo is just very incredible!! 17:49 For those curious that's the amazing Erika Harlacher aka Ann Takamaki, Venti, Elizabeth Liones, Violet Evergarden and Siune who is also a huge KH fan, and her being in KH3 was a dream come true (and she hopes to be a character in the upcoming KH4 too)
She's also Kyrie in FF7R, but yeah I love that she's a hardcore KH fan like the rest of us and I hope she gets to voice a character in a game (maybe Strelitzia, fingers cross).
I actually like the big hero 6 world and I think it’s my second favorite world in the game I think the problem is that once you do everything there not really much to do and your kind of restricted in certain areas in the game. But that’s probably because like everyone says in the comments this world was thrown in at the last minute I actually love how they brought the orginal baymax back that’s actually a pretty nice twist. Besides those issues loved the world wish it would have gotten more time and development otherwise it could have been tied or maybe favorite with the Caribbean in KH3
fr they made him sound even more robotic than he does in the movie idg why they did that. like i'm not complaining i guess???? i just dont get the point
After the previous video full of cutscenes, we now enter our last Disney World of the game! Time for the debut of Keyblade Hero 3! 3:34 - Don't think I didn't notice you stopping the music there just to tell everyone "Yes, I'm using a bonus Keyblade in this Timeline Series. Got a problem with that?" Surprised you used the remixed Eihander track used in this game for this world. I guess the world's atmosphere makes it fit and you probably won't feature the Gummi Fight that has that music anyway, so you might as well use it there.
8:12 Baymax, that is what we describe as "cringe". 10:38 Jesus Christ, Sora, calm down! Even if it was real, its a bug of an enemy you can easily crush. 25:45 Classic 28:28 I guess Sora sees Roxas the same way Hiro does with Tadashi. All in all, this world is my favorite out of the whole game.
To be fair, the latter usually means the Heartless have fully infiltrated the world. (Though the KH1 trauma probably ain't helping.) Also, yeah; Sora connects the feeling of Roxas to how Tadashi lives on in Big Hero 6. It's one of those moments that, however small in terms of theming it may be, doesn't work as well in any other world because of how the scene is set up.
19:06 If there's one thing that can make San Fransoyko (spelling?) feel like the last place Sora visits, it has to be this form change, as it feels like the attacks that are used are Sora shifting through attacks that he learned from the other form changes, making be an example of what Sora has learned combat-wise from this journey
In hindsight, I've always liked this world for how...cozy it feels at times, if that makes any sense. It's one of the few worlds in the series where Sora is just kind of able to take things somewhat easy for a little while, which is probably because of the same reason Symphony of Sorcery feels similar in Dream Drop: They're both worlds that serve as the calm before the storm. (Almost literally so for San Fransokyo given the trip to the Realm of Darkness is right after this world, then fighting Vanitas in the Land of Departure, and then the Keyblade Graveyard where EVERYTHING goes to shit.)
The finisher was probably modded into this base Sora’s moveset, as for the Nobody light pillars, the design is probably because of Roxas in his heart, being that he used this move in kh2
@@aubade358. So, presumably, that means the finisher will change by the time playable Roxas happens? I'm assuming the thought process by Everglow here is that, at this point, the hearts of Roxas and Xion have at least partially woken up and are influencing Sora's own abilities. (Though it's clear that Ventus has woken up enough post-Monstropolis to almost control Sora so it's strange none of Ven's moves from BBS have appeared.)
@@dragonbornexpress5650tbh him doing the Light Pillars is a thing that Ven can do but when he’s using the Faith Move from BBS…visually the Faith move looks close to that of the Light Pillars we see in this episode
Okay, after this world, now they NEED to include something from Marvel. This was basically proto-Avengers, so we know the boys will fit in with Superhero stuff now.
I mean if you didn’t know???? Big Hero 6 was originally owned by Marvel….yup they were originally marvel characters in the marvel universe but they didn’t get touched for a long ass time to the point where Disney themselves went in at Marvel and the Creator of the Characters to ask if they can buy to use the IP and thing went through smoothly as expected especially for Disney and ya know them being greedy money hungry so things succeed in there favor and that’s when the Disney Movie came out and they became Disney characters no longer Marvel characters now from the comics
@@dianceperez8540 But compared to the characters from the original Marvel Comic, the Big Hero 6 film is still from Walt Disney Animation Studios and *NOT* Marvel regardless of the Stan Lee cameo and mentioned in the credits saying "Based on the Marvel Comic by Man of Action"
@@kyleaustin4182 If Marvel does appear because of fan-service and fan demand I just want them to be their own interpretation and not based on the MCU versions of the characters, I just can’t imagine just shoehorning Thanos and Dr. Doom or in this case The Galactic Empire/Palpatine if we end up getting Star Wars be recurring villains in the overall Kingdom Hearts story where it becomes bloated and having to many characters in the Realm of Light. Just let the Realm of Light be relegated to Disney/Pixar worlds while The Unreality is relegated to Marvel and Star Wars content with the former being visited via the Marvel Comic Books.
Honestly Donald and Goofy look so out of place in this world since this movie takes in modern day with a nore realistic approach so talking animals dont exist, you could say they're robots to the others with all the high tech stuff the movie has but still it would've been if they had some kind of form that made them look fitting in this world
To be fair Donald and Goofy have visited Disney worlds in their original attire via Agrabah, Wonderland, Olympus, The Land of Dragons, Beast’s Castle, Kingdom of Corona, Arendelle and San Fransokyo and most of the Disney inhabitants never mind or complain about an Anthropomorphic Cartoon Dog and an Anthropomorphic Cartoon Duck with no pants.
In all fairness, this kind of stuff has been going on since KH1. (And was arguably at it's worst in KH2 with Port Royal where they stuck out like a sore thumb BIG time.)
@EChacon That is fair but worlds ike Wonderland and Agrabah they have stuff that is whacky or out of place like card soldiers or genies so Donald and Goofy can fit there at the very least in a way, but for a world like Arendelle years it makes sense they wouldn't mind them mostly because they have other stuff going on like finding Elsa or mostly dealing with the Heartless.
@@windwaker2094. Also, talking snowman kind of already makes talking animals not really that out of place. That being said, Big Hero 6 as a movie isn't actually set in the modern day as the obvious futuristic elements tell you.
@@mrsirqb1793 Pretty sure that like _Monsters at Work_ and Monstropolis story in KH3, both San Fransokyo’s Story in KH3 and _Big Hero 6: The Series_ are set in different universes and continuities despite being set after the movie.

I also expected more from the world itself such as exploring more on the San Fransokyo Bridge 🌉, going to Fred’s House, the San Fransokyo Tech institute or going to the Lucky Cat café instead of getting Hiro’s Garage (which is a small room) and a ¼ of the San Fransokyo City (which is just a Large Square)
Finally, the lack of other party members. 😕
It gets me more concerned if we wound up getting an Incredibles world in the next KH game and the ONLY party member we get is just ONLY Mr.
18:38 what music is that
BEHOLD: "Theromsphere" from the PS1 game "Einhänder", made of course by the one and only Square!
(which was then repurposed into the Schwarzgeist gummi battle music for kh3, to clarify)
@@kefkaexdeath. Wait. THAT'S what was going on in the background during that fight?
@@dragonbornexpress5650 a banger? Yes

The Hero Of The Keyblade Is BAAAAAACK!!!
I find it odd that you're allowed to use Baymax's attack at the start before he installs the new combat data.
Nice choice in the Schwarzgeist music, too.
14:52 this is the rare time Sora uses a different keyblade's abilities in a cutscenes
It’s finally time for Big Hero 6!!! I love how they got Khary as Wasabi again (loved his performance on Big Hero 6 The Series, and I love the show) and exploring San Fransokyo is just very incredible!!
17:49 For those curious that's the amazing Erika Harlacher aka Ann Takamaki, Venti, Elizabeth Liones, Violet Evergarden and Siune who is also a huge KH fan, and her being in KH3 was a dream come true (and she hopes to be a character in the upcoming KH4 too)
Erika also voiced a Female townsperson in Olympus.
She's also Kyrie in FF7R, but yeah I love that she's a hardcore KH fan like the rest of us and I hope she gets to voice a character in a game (maybe Strelitzia, fingers cross).
The members of big hero 6 was very impressed of sora's moves
Go go: 15:01 - 15:15
Wasabi: 15:25 -15:36
Honey lemon: 15:40 - 15:52
Fred: 16:04 - 16:21
I actually like the big hero 6 world and I think it’s my second favorite world in the game I think the problem is that once you do everything there not really much to do and your kind of restricted in certain areas in the game. But that’s probably because like everyone says in the comments this world was thrown in at the last minute
I actually love how they brought the orginal baymax back that’s actually a pretty nice twist.
Besides those issues loved the world wish it would have gotten more time and development otherwise it could have been tied or maybe favorite with the Caribbean in KH3
18:37 OMG! You put "Thermosphere" here as the battle theme! I f*cking love you!
It's such a bop 😎😎
This was pretty cool.
27:23 Zuko: That's rough, buddy.
We're BAAAAAACK!!!!
Pretty good use of Einhander music, I was afraid we wouldn’t get to hear it since you aren’t depicting the humming ship sections lol
It's hero time!
That scene with Roxas at the end always gets me 🥺
We're in the home stretch of KH3!
Kind of. Last of the Disney worlds in the game, for sure.
1:38 the he says head always makes me laugh
fr they made him sound even more robotic than he does in the movie idg why they did that. like i'm not complaining i guess???? i just dont get the point
Got a problem with that?"
Surprised you used the remixed Eihander track used in this game for this world. I guess the world's atmosphere makes it fit and you probably won't feature the Gummi Fight that has that music anyway, so you might as well use it there.
Looks like you're a man of culture as well.
I've discovered the series recently-ish. Perhaps one day, I can take a dive into it more closely!
8:12 Baymax, that is what we describe as "cringe".
10:38 Jesus Christ, Sora, calm down! Even if it was real, its a bug of an enemy you can easily crush.
25:45 Classic
28:28 I guess Sora sees Roxas the same way Hiro does with Tadashi.
All in all, this world is my favorite out of the whole game.
To be fair, the latter usually means the Heartless have fully infiltrated the world. (Though the KH1 trauma probably ain't helping.)
Also, yeah; Sora connects the feeling of Roxas to how Tadashi lives on in Big Hero 6. It's one of those moments that, however small in terms of theming it may be, doesn't work as well in any other world because of how the scene is set up.
6:50 Khary Payton! BOOYAH!!
Sora in KH1: Becomes a "Junior Hero"
Sora in KH2: Becomes a "Hero"
Sora in KH3: Becomes a "Super Hero"
____
Sora in KH4: Becomes an "Avenger" (?)
kh3 ends with the hero dying before he can live long enough to see himself become the vill-
Let’s gooooo!!!
25:46 bah-la-la-la-la-la-la.
8:08 never change Sora
Wait, I can't believe I didn't notice earlier, but why is Sora able to summon light pillars?
That's one of the combo finishers supplied through Re:Mind.
@@kyleaustin4182 Through Light Form, not base. Also the symbol atop these pillars are the Nobody Emblem.
Finally, then last Disney World before the main events . I’m so excited .
Calm before the storm. Before the shitshow truly begins.
@@dianceperez8540 Apparently it’s one of the few Marvel Comic books (albeit most obscure of Marvel) to be made into a Disney Animated film.
Big Hero 6 is actually set in 2032!
Big Hero 6: the Series Finale!
@@mrsirqb1793 Pretty sure that like _Monsters at Work_ and Monstropolis story in KH3, both San Fransokyo’s Story in KH3 and _Big Hero 6: The Series_ are set in different universes and continuities despite being set after the movie.
