@@WHOARETHEPATRIOTS475 Not as far as I know, but they did remake MGS3 cutscenes and got everyone hyped for a remake but it turned out that they made all that effort just for pachinko machines lol
@@WHOARETHEPATRIOTS475 If you win at a pachinko slot machine, you get lots of little metal balls, which you can exchange for price objects (not money) at a counter. You can then exchange these objects for actual money at nearby stores or something which are specifically build for that purpose. This way, pachinko doesn't officially count as gambling, (since you don't technically gamble for money) which helps to avoid lots of regulations that casinos etc. normally face. And if you own the exchange stores aswell as the pachinko parlors (which is the case 99.9% of the time) you can make tons of money by suckers who spend all the money they have in an attempt to get the jackpot. That's all I know, but I am by no means an expert on this topic. I just know that it's a very lucrative and ever expanding business and perfect for the yakuza too.
Minor nitpick: the scene at the end shouldn't have a spent shell on the ground. Pump action shotguns don't eject a shell unless you pump them, which the character shouldn't have been able to do given he was too busy doing his best impression of a grunge vocalist at the time. Other than that, pretty neat game. The bossfight at the end gave me some Cry of Fear vibes with the tall naked thing with the invisible enemies.
The ejection port is on the right side as well, so he'd need to turn the shotgun upside down to have it face the same way as the window, but it being upside down would cause it to fall onto the floorboard even if he could pump it from beyond the grave. However, maybe the shell was dropped before he closed the door. We can see blood dripping onto it, but it isn't collecting on the shell. This means that the blood spatter and drip wouldn't show up on the shell either. It could be an unspent shell or a shell previously spent that he dropped while entering the vehicle. The shell does look too long to be unspent, but it also doesn't look spent (but this could be due to the stylistic choices either way). I'd be interested to hear if a different shell model was used. I can't quite tell from the gameplay if the shells he picks up are the same as the one at the end.
Same exact thought went through my mind too! They even put the window down and everything, so the spent shell thing was clearly what they were going for. Weird choice.

@@gobblegobble831 Yes and no. Silent Hill 1 and 3 are projections of _Alessa's_ personal traumas, which absolutely counts as the main character's personal trauma in 3. Silent Hill 4 deviates from the first three titles because it's not even Silent Hill, it's an independent pocket dimension created as an alternative to the Other World in Silent Hill, so it focuses entirely on the _antagonist's_ personal traumas and obsessions. Additionally, Silent Hill 2 isn't just James' personal traumas, he occasionally wanders into a part being influenced by another character's trauma and history. It's pretty clear that personal trauma is a large part of what guides Silent Hill's manifestations even in the Team Silent games, though I of course favor the concept that the location itself is intelligent and potentially malevolent on top of feeding off of/amplifying trauma.

Just one criticism. As long as we're channeling Silent Hill, go all the way and include a pocket-light. Switching between flashlight and shotgun is cumbersome.

Fantastic indie game. My one major criticism of it though, is the constant static in the background. I believe it makes the game less accessible to people with tinnitus or sensitivities to certain frequencies. Perhaps switching to a softer white noise or a different frequency is a good idea?
