This is a great search and rescue light. It's one of the few LEPs, aside from the Microfire S50 and the Acebeam W50, that can pull prolonged duty work as a scanner searchlight, but without the need to be tripod mounted.... I love my W35. Along with the M1 (for different reasons), it's the most useful LEPs I have.
Great video to watch ! Still for budget zoomies, some can be had with a 67mm aspherical lens, mod it with a sft40 and it will reach 1500 meters ! Still flood and switch to throw all useful.
I have that little light it’s a great little LEP that gives you a nice hotspot. I have5 LEP‘s in my collection. The W4 pro /W3 pro /Acebeam W35 /AceBeam M1 along with the Thor 3. They all are great lights in my opinion. The nice thing about the W3 pro Tac is it’s size and pound for pound is one of the brightest LEP on the market.
I have this light it’s a nice little light. It’s not quite as nice as the WelTool W4 or as nice as the W3 pro tac.But the W35 with its very different zoom makes it a good buy for some .Great job on showing this light of on TH-cam
you dont have to cycle through all the steps to the setting that you want. Just double click on the button and it reset to either max diffused pattern or max throw and then, u can adjust the beam pattern to the setting that you want. Just a shortcut and faster that way. I never have problem with this. Anyway, loving mine.
@@krapeevids6992 yeap. The amount i paid for this W35 is about half of what i paid for my manker crown. lol. But both are great lights. Manker crown is a rare spesies. I have a terminator M1 on the way too

What’s the lifespan of an LEP emitter compared to LED? I’ve really been liking the range of expensive to cheap to super cheap light reviews on the channel recently.
@ethan-lumencraft- just subscribe to the channel so didn't know and yeah I picked one up on a good discount awhile back and really don't use it much....
I had the highest expectations for the W35, but when I got one I was very disappointed with it. The beam color was VERY GREEN and the LC zoom caused significant output loss as the diffusion increased.
Frankly, the problem with these flashlights is that they are expensive compared to the number of lumens, battery life, and many other things. They are only for one purpose. Also, at this price, you can buy an 80,000 lumen lamp that is more practical, and even the dazzling aspect of them is limited, or their uses are very limited.
@@honkhonk1555What you can get is elements that are many times brighter for a quarter of the price. It is only 800 lumens. You are paying for the technology only and not for what it is worth. If you want to buy one to defend yourself, there are elements for $100, or at that limit, 3000 lumens or more, smaller in size, that are enough to distract anyone.
They’re two different lights. I have the W4 and the W3 pro from WelTool .the W5/W4 or the W3 pro but none of them function quite like this light with the zoom capabilities. Don’t get me wrong.WelTool makes some of the best products out there but AceBeam is no slouch.

The Thor 3 is definitely worth the money for the price. It’s not my favorite but geez, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than any of the other lights I had mentioned. Of course that W 4 pro Tac at 3712 yards is a lot better light but it a bit more at $468.Your showings are great on all the projects you have.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It’s like you just came out the girlfriend’s room or you got in a really bad fight and lost. More on topic, though, jokes aside, that’s a cool light. For me, the Nitecore’s still the closest to what I would get. If they made the same light but with a bigger tail to match with a 26650 cell at the least, or better yet with a 26800, then I would’ve already bought one, but with that slim azz body and undersized cell, it just makes no sense on an otherwise perfect light. When white wall hunting, is there a little notch in the edge of the beam due to a cut-out in the aluminium head that holds the lens?
No the beam is totally smooth, there are no noticeable artefects aside from the subtle hotspot in the center
