This song was on one of those psa afterschool specials about the dangers of peer pressure and drug abuse about a young girl who wanted to be a dancer but she was juggling school hme life ( eldest of 5 kids parents recently divorced) and her passion for dance.
It is fairly easy to isolate the vocals using both the original vocal and instrumental versions of the song, by combining the two and using the invert filter to cancel out the instruments.
Need a big favour from you retro lot, is there a version of this without the rap, 'chorus 8' be very great full if you know of a version, big thanks people.
