I didn't know Bruce Dickinson could play guitar and the plucking he played is the favorite part of this song to me. The moment he says Brad can you hear us gives me goosebumps. This is my favorite song of Iron Maiden. I can listen to this song again and again.
So Bruce said in his speaking show that what caused him to cut his forehead was him swinging his guitar around to get the attention of the sound guy as there was nothing coming out of their monitors and the guitar swung back around and smacked him in the head. When he got backstage they tried to patch him up but then one of the crew came in asking to see if they could squeeze more blood out because it "looked great on tv" 😅

And THEN he'd call off the remaining dates of the leg, and the remaining shows from the tour itself. GnR would have been as big as The Stones, Beatles and Led Zeppelin if it wasn't for Axl. He ruined it all for the band.

At one point they were without any single doubt the most popular band in the world.....seen them live in prag 2 years ago and over 50k people came to the show.....that's a lot of people for a band that didn't made a single album together in almost 30 years

The story behind his split forehead at this gig was pretty crazy as for the sound on stage as for what i believe was really shit that he got so pissed off that as he was taking off his guitar he accidentally smashed his head open then yelled at the sound engineer to fix the fucking sound then proceeded to smash the guitar on the sound desk which snap the guitar in half then went back out and sang. LOL
