- The Rollerman suit is Jean-Yves’s own invention, he was a student at an industrial design school in Paris in 1994, and for his final graduation project, he created the Rollerman suit.
He wanted to create something that didn’t yet exist, perhaps even something that filled gaps in gliding postures in sports, with a goal to enable the human body to move freely in all possible positions.
Combining these impulses with his love for skating, he created a suit of full-body armor, equipped with 32 wheels placed on the hands, feet, knees, torso, arms, and back.
It takes about 2 months to mould a complete suit, and the suits sell for $4500 euro or about $5000 US Dollars.
Now even though Jean-Yves is known as the Rollerman, and the suit would be best known as a rollersuit, wheel suit or rollerblade suit, but the activity of using the suit, is referred to as Buggy Rollin, which is a term coined by Jean-Yves himself, but it’s also known as body blading, roller suiting, and wheel suiting.

*1) How do you stop, the suit has no brakes* - if you are asking this question, I assume you have never ridden a pair of skates before. Rollerblades, Roller Skates, Ice Skates, even Snow Skis, all brake in roughly the same ways, with friction. Roller Skates and Ice Skates both have a brake at the front, roller skates have a rubber stopper, and Ice Skates and a serration in the blade that you dig into the ice. Roller Blades used to come with the stopper on the black of the skate, so you point your toes up and use your heel to brake. BUT ALL skates can be braked by pointing 1 foot forward and the other foot on an angle and drag your foot to create friction & drag, slowing you down, which personally I found as the best way to slow down on any skates.
Rollerman is doing the same thing, angling parts of his body, an arm or a leg to create drag and slow down. if he was standing he would angle a foot. It may be hard to wrap your head around braking on skates or this suit, but it's really easy and effective.
*2) He stole this Rollerman Suit idea from Jackie Chan's Movie Zodiac "CZ12"* - The movie Zodiac came out in 2012, but the Rollerman suit is Jean-Yves’s own invention, which he created in 1994. So no he did not steal the idea, Jackie Chan's Movie Team Stole the idea from him, or to probably be more accurate, bought a suit from him to use in the movie.

*4) How much are they and where can I buy one* - Has no one ever heard of the term "website" how about googling it, or better yet click on the link in the SHOW MORE section under the video, and they are worth $5000 euro ea or about $5900 US.
*5) what if he hits a pebble, won't he go flying like a skateboarder* - Would not do anything. A pebble under a skateboard wheel can make the rider go flying, because he is standing and top heavy and because he is not connected to the skateboard. But rollerman is lying down, so with that much weight and force rolling forward and low to the ground, he would just roll right over it.

@@ivanrivera6998 Nah, as stated above, due to him lying down his center of mass is very close to the road, as such pebbles or bumps int he road while being inconvenient don't really pose an issue. A lot of ways and angles in which he keeps contact to the surface, so he is pretty stable. Just hitting a car while rolling down the slopes at ridiculous speeds on the other hand... It is amazing to watch, but I'd shit my pants in that thing.
He has the looks and fluidity of a transformer. This is quintessentially the best transformers cosplay out there.
