He reminds me of the guy from O2O where he kisses his girlfriend and he never had a girlfriend before and girls always try to get near him and he never let them get near him because he was about gaming and making a game and then after that he was going to get into something else like you had a timeframe for everything and his girlfriend was like are you sure you never had a girlfriend before when it's her cuz like you made sure to put his hand behind your head and everything and he's like when I'm with you I get these urges and I can't hold myself back and it was like because I like with this guy because you could see where he put a boundary between him and other girls like girls were even scared to go up to him like they admired him from afar her cuz he was good-looking but after seeing some girls be rejected I think they were scared but the thing was he was very nice if you really think about it in his own way it's just he wasn't like all his friends that you know when they help someone or they're certain way they smile he always had a serious face and realistically in the beginning we saw like when they reunited he had a serious face again but see she already knew him it was only until he scolded her when she showed up at that restaurant bar thing and then he realized that his friends had called her and when she said don't worry you won't see me again or something like that it took them back to when they broke up when she told him don't hang up on me but he had to hang up because he was in boot camp or whatever and she he called her back or whatever and that's when she tells them make delicious break up so I think it took them back that place and then that's when they said about the school thing and you ran out there stop her cuz I think no matter what those ears cuz it wasn't technically 10 years that they were apart because if you can count it was 10 years from when they have technically started dating but no one knew that they had started dating when he graduated high school and she was a senior in high school so I think he didn't go to college she just went straight to Police Academy, so that's a difference with him with all the other guys like his friend is kind of sad but his best friend that he was talking to him he had a tendency to always blurt and I don't know if he actually cheated but obviously there's something that kept going on with that one girl that wanted to marry Lu Chen he wasn't there when she needed him and things were falling apart in her life and see it was all new for her cuz she and her parents were always working or whatever but for her to find out her dad was being unfaithful it was like a big blow to her and see him he came from a broken family his mom got remarried to a great guy who he considered a father and that was why he joined the police academy and then I don't think the his biological father ever got remarried he just screwed around with a lot of women and I think that affected him in the sense of he never wanted his partner his wife to feel what his mother felt because his mother was like a weak woman so afterwards she when her husband her second husband died she got remarried again to her first husband which I don't know why and she lived a miserable life and her kids had to you know go through it so honestly he had responsibilities from a very early age so I think that was the difference and when he realized I should have been there for her more she was a young girl still you know I mean and that her she realized I could never find a guy faithful gentle and take things seriously the way he did I don't know if she ever went on blind dates or anyting but she just said I never found guys like him and even though other people were like he's quiet and he never Smiles that was appealing to her and that's the thing they were good for each other cuz look at any other girl that's why he was like Owen dirty she's like that's okay I like it like she didn't care and I think he knew that just the way she helped him and his friend the kid and stuff like that. Look at the other girl who was actually supposed to be his fiance she's like oh I don't want this kid around them and how she put a price on stuff and this man girl she didn't you know she would spend money but she wouldn't let them know how much she spent because she didn't want them to feel the burden and I think he always knew that and he liked it
When they talked about the meat buns that he bought her that he knew she liked him and he overheard her when she was in college that she really wanted to eat them but she didn't have money or something like that and then he tells her oh did you spend your pocket money ahead of time and she may like a weird face and said oh yeah and then he feeds her I always wondered was it not the case it was it that she had no money because she didn't accept any money from her dad after finding out he was cheating on the mom and then that's when maybe she started working and became into Investments because that's always weird to me cuz it's not like she was interested in stuff like that honestly growing up it's like you didn't know what she was going to do and he didn't care it was him it was like okay he was either going to be a mechanic and run the shop or go to the police academy love me and you remain so it wasn't shocking with him but with her I think he was even shocked what the hell he had to ask a little boy what is it that she does
She spent all her pocket money and craved these buns everyday too. She especially loved that filling. She is like that as she would eat the same fried bread breakast and crave it on weekends so he learnt to make them. She received pocket money from her father and her mother is poor but not destitute. She lived a good life as a diplomat. However, he always picked her up from her Aunt's house there is not much information apart from the divoce episode about the parents in her educational years. A person may like something for a period of time and change after. There is a 8-10 year separation and he only saw from a far 2 years before. So how would he know what is happening in her life unless the little boy tells him? He suspects that she is well off as the clothes, suitcase and other hints like her car said she had good means of living. He was also trying to compensate for hurting her and thought material things would compensate. The father is also manipulative to a certain level, but 'the women he loves are kind', his ex-wife and daughter. She did not accept the gifts from her father because she was still hurt and she wanted to be independent so he could not inluence her decisions nor control her. She only started to heal as YuChen and her mother helped her to let go. In her own relationship she started to realise these things. He was never going to be a mechanic as he wanted to leave at the earliest to get away from his father. He works on cars while he is a responsible person and whill help the staff. He is the owner's son. He repairs cars as it is his way of dealing with things when either happy or sad. She uses food in the same way. She eats alot when she is happy or sad.
