I am a 100% single, older mom, with a daughter in her 2nd year of college. I had to take a 2nd pt job, delivering pizza to try and make ends meet. My Egyptian boss (who I've known from being a customer for 12 years), has lived in the US for over 20 years. He is the kindest human being I have ever met! He and his wife have been so great to me and my daughter over the years. He just recently paid for my car repair. He wants me to pay it back WHEN I can, AFTER the holidays!! More people like them are needed in this world!!

He's 19 years old raising his siblings, so I wish he would have gotten more than $2k for the family to use because that won't last long clothing growing children, groceries, school expenses, gas, utilities etc. He had to take a 3K loan out to make ends meet, so it won't be long before they are back in that position again, and then what? Life is hard enough, but for a family of kids, with the only earner 19 and what is probably a lower wages, I wish more thought had gone into this surprise. Yes, it is something, but people who have more, have received more on this exercise.

A lot of the times it is not long term someone needs it the short term just get me out of the hole I'm in now and I be ok. This world is very hard to live in. So many ups & downs and so much heart ache in the world. This young man is doing an amazing job to take care of his siblings while healing his heart from the lose of his mother. and working hard.

Sometimes it’s so unfair especially a young woman who was 37 dying from this horrible disease,but to her son your mom must have been a wonderful woman and mother she taught you the most important thing and that’s to love your family !! He was emotionally touched when he saw that Secret Santa bought a headstone for his mom’s grave ! May your mom Rest In eternal Peace and may you and your family continue to live in the memory of your mother !! Thank You Secret Santa for helping out this young man and his siblings !!
