You have given me a fantastic idea! I have some old embroidery from my grandmother and mother that needs some TLC. I actually use the embroidered t-towels from my family it reminds me of them as I use them. But, they have gotten threadbare and need some touch-ups. I am working on projects for my grandkids. Thanks!!
It's absolutely beautiful Leandra! The two mediums work in perfect harmony with one another, each enhancing the other! Thank you for sharing this with us, I hope to see more of your creations! ~~Christy~~
I don't recall you mentioning it, but can you give an estimate of time needed for paint to dry on the fabric? I'm sure how much or how heavy you put the paint on makes a difference, but just an estimate of time? Over night? Or several hours? Or even faster? Thanks.
I just love how that turned out! Excited to try mixing these mediums.
I just LOVE this idea! Never even imagined it….mixing watercolor and embroidery. Brilliant 🦋
thank you! I’m glad you like it! 🧡

Thank you! agree both mediums look beautiful together 🌸
Amazing work! Is there any way you would suggest sealing the water colors in the case of needing to gently wash the fabric?
Thats what I was looking for, too! I think you have to use fabric paint instead of watercolor paint. 🤔
Love it!!
Beautiful 😍
Thank you!
P.S. What are the brown stitches supposed to be? Rocks? Logs?

Hi, watercolor usually dries pretty fast, for this particular piece it took an hour to completely dry 🧡
Use a hair dryer to dry faster
