@@buzzlightyear1275 I can never find a decent stamina level for my dinos, flyers or not. I'm always worried I messed with the server settings, but no, just crap luck of the draw.
It'd be cool if amargasauruses dropped their spikes when harvested, and the spikes could be used to craft special ammo for crossbows

Yea like ice arrows periceing arrows and a new way to craft fire arows
Another cool idea is if they could shed their spikes over time
This could apply to many dinos but their drops could craft armour as well
Btw syntac, there’s another magamasaur cave on the other side of that volcano, it is also fairly small but you can get the eggs from both sides of the volcano and you might be able to find more nests with that

Syntac you can tame a bunch of Maewings, put them inside a soul terminal and make them prouduce unfertilazed eggs, they can lay eggs for every kibble type, the eggs literally came as the same type of kibble. Like (Regular Egg, Extraordinary Egg, etc)
I need to learn how to make kibble
Pretty sure I have all the necessary tamed to make each tier of kibble
Been saying this to myself so I liked to get it up there

The Magmasaurs didn’t attack my Maewing when I went into the lava egg cave. They just kind of froze, staring at me. Very weird. I went in there later and they attacked, and then I went in again the next day and they froze, so it seems to be hit or miss.
Loving the series Syn , it got me super hyped for Lost island your content in general is super enjoyable and I watch it all the time :D , your channel really deserves all the growth it has received and hopefully you receive much more support on your content :)

You kept your cool pretty well when you hit your Mana tame. My knee jerk reaction was literally ‘kill it and shut game off’. Some days Ark just makes me want to burn it all to the ground.

There are more magma nest spawns throughout the volcano region! The one I found had a super small entrance that lead directly to a single mating pair with one nest.
Can’t wait to see you use the mana a bunch this series! I have missed seeing them since the nerfs.

I think The Chemical effect of environment in the volcano affected the colors on the inhabited creatures.

I accidentally found the ice wyvern trench while out scouting for crystal, I just saw an egg. Managed to take the egg and narrowly escape with a fricken Ptera 🤣 it all happened so fast.
My friend and i went into the same Magmasaur cave, i was on a rock drake and she was on foot. All of the wild Magmasaurs were passive and literally watched us steal their egg. The only things we modified in-game is Harvest multi, and we are on console.
Are the Sinamacrops on Xbox? I haven't been able to find any
@@christinaolvera1883 they are, best place to find them is 60, 50 on the map. You'll see a big trench, with some waterfalls.

I remember when Extinction came out and before all the heavy nerfing I yeeted on my first Mana outside of the borders and lost the Mana and all my stuff. They were crazy back then.
I tamed my first giga yesterday (lvl 4) and it came out with 17080 health and 20% damage 😭
I also misread Dododex and brang 1100 narcotics instead of 101
Can’t even make a saddle yet. I’m on like day 70 at level 88
You can breed magmasaurs with two fire wyverns spamming the fire attack, use one and when stamina runs outs use the other and repeat till breading is done
I wonder if we can use the amargasauruses fire spikes. Although not like getting one is easier than a wyvern lol
@@meeserbaker It probably damages the magmasaurs considering how inconsistent the magmasaur is.
or just use the s plus stuff, i use the nest and the npc chick, long as you give her sulfur, your feeding trough sulfur and to make sure they are getting enough i give each one a stack of 100 sulfur and my magmas survive
Just put under 14 camp fires and you have a Wyvern / magmasur breeding statuon
@@alecbennett1794 the magmasaurs are supposed to be in lava to breed. That was the only way till breathing fire from a wyvern on them was discovered. So to breed them they have to be either in lava or spam wyvern fire on them till theyre done breeding. 14 campfires would only be good for the egg not the actual mating.
The dinopithecus keeps you warm while riding it, similar to having an otter on your shoulder. I have 200 % movement speed and managed to outrun wyverns, 1000%melee damage and 5k health it was a breeze to steal ice wyvern eggs.
You can jump in the sky and slam the ground and can do a jump swipe
There’s a top entrance of the cave right over the mountain behind where our base is syntac. That’s the entrance I feel is easiest.
Amargasaurus are pretty awesome, I tamed a level 115 (my max level being 150) as a tester tame and the Dino’s stats were actually pretty good, health was at 9k and goes up by 1k when I level him. I can’t even imagine what at level 150 (or 180) would look like once tame. I am enjoying my little low level amargasaurus. Please tame one soon, they are sooooooo worth it

Manas can use there big forwards boost for a longer distance if it has more movement speed so upgrading movement speed is a pretty good idea
The rest into melee is just his new catch phrase we all know. He says that every series so does king daddy dmac. It's getting to the point where it's the catch phrase for syntac
So, I don't know if it's the same with Magmasaurs, but Wyverns for me on Lost Island will lock onto a prey animal, and won't change targets until it's dead. I was able to fly around wyverns pretty easily with an argy as long as they had already started hitting/targeting a nearby prey animal. Not sure if that's intended or what, but I could even beat on them until they were dead if the animal was small enough that their bus wide turning radius didn't let their breath hit the target
The magmasaurs are just like "this is nice and refreshing!"

If you follow the stream down from the ice wyvern trench you can find a beaver spawn area and you usually get 1 really bit giant dam and 2 big dams

Hey syntac be careful in the redwoods there are thylas in the trees. I ended up killing a 145 without knowing the level. I hoped I could have saw it and then looked at its level.

Also the kentros have the same colors as the ones on genesis and also x-rock elementals can spawn around the volcano supposedly

The easy magmasaurs on this map are a godsend for a playthrough idea I've wanted to do: if it can be done with a creature, you have to do it that way. (outside of bare minimum, such as building a smithy purely to build a beaver or argy saddle, then destroying it). Both Gen 1 Magmas and Pheonixes are way too late game for that to be usable, but Lost Island are easy enough to get.
Argy saddles are built in inventory...

I know this video is a couple months old but this is as far as ive made it in the series so far. It might be a good idea to keep a couple different sets of armor (fur, flak, ghillie) on your little Sino since he is always on you. That way you are always prepared for whatever

I had almost the same problem trying to catch a Mana, except instead of my mount it was myself hitting it by accident because the stupid hitbox is so off, this map really needs a lot of fixes and hitboxes are one of them. And so far I have died twice trying to get Wyvern eggs but at the volcano to the damn poison Wyverns.
All Ark players understand those moments Syntac!

You can get ferox on here. There are two magma caves on this map. Maybe Tame some Yutis just for the eggs.

Is anyone else having issues with creature spawns? Like my Wyvern trench is COMPLETELY empty, no wyverns whatsoever. And only a few ice wyverns/eggs. This also seems to happen with regular dinos like otters occasionally
I either have terrible luck or can't get griffins to spawn. Literally killed everything around the spawnarea for two days. No griffins. But doing a dinowipe gave griffins immediately
Both trenches for me are odd. I'll come through one sweep and see nothing then turn around and see 10 wyverns. The amount of eggs are rather low though I just got a 210 ice wyvern egg yeaterday so who knows

Can't you try and make a farm out of those eggs? You know, hatch them and breed them to get more eggs? I've been watching the channel for a while but I'm still new to kibble and farms soooo
Yes, you can do it! You can use fertilized and not fertilized eggs for kibble! :)
As I've seen in the comments yes there are 2 Magmasaur Dens not too far away from one another, but the Magmasaurs themselves are very bugged, I've killed them in the Dens and they don't respawn (Unless you DinoWipe) not to mention they seem to just love being killed 😅 they just stand there and sometimes do the Smelting animation.
Syn just having Primal Fear PTSD saw the thing above Wyverns head lol

Idk why but that title made me think about how cool it would be to have a snow/lava hybrid area in a map.
i have noticed from my runs thru both trenches that the egg spawns are slow even with me making several trips thru there, and i dunno if you noticed but there is 2 magmasaur caves
fun tip for mana if you run out of stam you can jump off punch it 2 times and it will be full stam you will know the hit worked if you see snow fall off it when you hit it

Just so you're not confused, Magmasaur dont attack on Lost island even if you steal their egg for some reason. Idk if its a bug or not but for the time being you can grab as many eggs and not get attacked on Lost Island

Fun fact when I ghosted into the wyvern trench I found a wyvern in the walls. I don’t know if it’s a Xbox bug or if it is also is on PC. I’m letting you know this because after 4 hours on the lost island I haven’t had a single wyvern egg spawn other than ice wyverns
You could just breed a bunch of maewings for tier 5 kibble. If you have automation turned on for your soul terminal, maewings produce about the same number of every type of egg.
How do you switch between dinos on the quick bar? I have dino storage too and its a really big pain adding them to my hotbar. Also the auto equip is super annoying too. Any tips would be great! Loving your series too!

You can bring Mana's into Gen 1, but you can't ride at all. They probably never thought the Magmasaur would never encounter a Mana, so they forgot to program it.
That 3rd fire ball scared me when he was AFK😂

The first time I entered the wyvern trench, there wasn't a single wyvern. I then used a mod and it told me, the Wyverns spawned behind the walls so I could just fly through and grab an egg. That aggrod them and made them glitch back into the map lol
I literally spend my whole night getting eggs for these 2 dinos lol
The same sort of thing happened to me on this map. I was on a saber tooth and dilos didn't attack went past like I was invisible. They went after me when I was on foot though.
Dilos don't attack sabers I don't think, I honestly don't remember since I haven't had a Saber in a while.
Sometimes Ark just deems certain creatures passive when around specific creatures.
Its weird but it just happens.
