    Mulatu & the Heliocentrics collabration is the greatest of all time. Its a masterpice and more like art than anything. For me it's a milestone in history of music.

      Maybe Danny Keane? He plays cello on some Heliocentrics recordings and he's also on Mulatu's Sketches of Ethiopia album.

    I love Mulatu's older stuff but the cello in this seems so out of place!! Brass/guitar or Fender Rodes could perhaps have been a substitute solo instrument. I love cello but I just dont think it belongs here!!

      The Heliocentrics use cello on various non-collaborative material, and I believe there is also cello on the Mualtu & Heliocentrics album.
