Also, don't forget our own backyard. We have endangered species here too and our actions, while not direct like poachers, are affecting livelihoods of so many species. And take into account that Indonesia is the world's biggest producer of palm oil and rubber, the demand of which are influenced by all of us.

As an Indonesian from Sumatra Island which is the habitat of Orangutan, I can confirm you that the forestation in Sumatra is really awful. Most of the rain forest has turned to palm oil tree forest. The lack variety of plantations mean the lack variety of animals. Today if you drive to rural area, as far as you can see are the palm oil trees. Sumatra rain forests used to be very beautiful, abstract and natural, today they are just boring open palm oil trees every 9m² where no place for animals to live or even to hide.
