Thank you, this is very helpful, especially providing the output format settings. You showed the recipient able to open the editable doc in the free Adobe Reader, type in it, and close. Then open it in Preview and type. Was it necessary to open in Acrobat first? Could a user open it first in Preview or use other PDF readers? Thank you!

Hi there, your video is really helpful and explains a lot! When you send your PDF to a customer do you need to send them the fonts you chose for the PDF or does the PDF keep the fonts embedded so when they type it stays the font you chose?
good video and your smart ... im trying to use those fan fold UPS / fedex/ etc waybills. with dot matrix printer. (okidata 320) I scanned a demo way bill into acrobat pro to convert into a fillable forms, it only get some fields maybe like 2 . but how would i print it just with the text (hide background on printing) and what fanfold/tractor size would i set the printer too.... any help would be appreciated.. ( been doing hours of trial and error , this newer software is overly complicated if this was 2002 it would of took me minutes) using acrobat pro xi ) thank you in advance

Hi, how do I allow the PDF form to also be filled out in other pdf apps? The PDF I create is for a business and I cannot depend on everyone having Adobe Reader, also my demographic is over 65 so they wont be tech savvy. Thanks.

Thank you for the video. I have a question. How do you prevent the customer from taking the fillable PDF form and opening it up in Adobe Acrobat DC, where it was originally created, and modifying the source file themselves? If I were to sell the editable PDF, I want to make sure they can't take my original file, modify it, and then turn around and sell it elsewhere. Thank you!
At that point I believe that would be copyright infringement which would be illegal.

I have one printable Halloween card designed in Illustrator and I saved it as a PDF with a high-quality print set up. How can I limit the editing and just give permission to edit the invitation address part, not the design and illustrations? Thank you.
Is there some way to hide those grey plates for text? I mean, You have a design with light-pink plates, but its hiding with grey plates. I have this problem, nice design for a document, but this gray field ruins it a lot =( And if I choose "hiding" in settings - I can't enter text there. So, I can or typing, or hiding.
Is there a way to protect digital files sold online from being stolen?
I'm selling a digital file online and I'm a little concerned the buyer can easily share their purchase with others... is there something I can do ?

Actually you can copy the fields, you just need to change their names in the options.
