Great review and sorry to hear about your copy. For some reason, my figures wings stay on just fine. I guess I got lucky.
Mine are tight as well. So tight they 'creak' when I move them back and forth. Looking closer at the video, maybe your backpack piece is defective? My wings sink into the backpack clips, they don't stick up/out at all. It's a definite bummer, though. The wings and shield were the main upgrades from the 3-pack version and I'd be pretty salty if the wings didn't work as advertised.
Mine too. They snapped in nicely with no problems.
Mine also have no issues. It must be just him.
I think the deluxe version needs a extra head and unmasked head and update in articuation

I just picked him up today and as for the wings, I am happy to report that my copy does not suffer from the same shallow clips. Mine clip on just fine, so it was just a bad luck of the draw.

Good video. I never got the first SamCap, so this is a new figure to me. I'm a Cap fan, so this is a good addition to my collection .
Sorry to hear about the Q/C issues with your fig. Have you tried heating the clips before attaching the wings?
Every picture I've seen of this set has the wings snapped deeper into the clips than what you show in your review. Perhaps a hot bath on those clips might let them settle fully over the posts, then you'd need to remake the video though.
Love the costume but the shelf space he’ll take up with those wings look crazy
Ah but suspending him over the other figures using string or a flight stand helps mitigate that

Happy Birthday America! IMHO (and I speak only for myself) I like the storyline of Steve Rogers passing the mantle of Captain America on, it works a bit better in the live action movies where the actors actually are growing older and want out of their contracts than in the comics where these changes are almost always undone. I like that Steve is a blue eyed blonde haired man and Red Skull offered him a place at his side but Steve chose freedom and democracy and I like how Sam is a black man and aware of many of the issues of modern times and that he has so much respect for Steve a member of the greatest generation, there's a real passing of the torch theme just like the office of President of the United States is passed on, of course my favourite will always be the one and only Steve Rogers, he's my favourite Marvel character.

Plz review the secret empire captain america as soon as you can possible and remember stack him next to iron man mark 3 to see if he does scale well with him Jason but also show me if arkham knight batman scales well with mullet superman and earth 2 as well

Have you tried heating up the peg so it’s easier to insert the wings? I had kind of the same problem but I just gave them a little heat the cooled them down once pegged together.
I think you might have the backpack on upside down maybe try flipping it then attaching The wings :)
Jason, you can always 3D print a new set of wings, the tricky part is finding a suitable 3D model, le me know if you need help.

My figures wing stays on without issue, but it’s still a disappointing wing when compared to Angel’s and Wasp.
