Always good to see fellow console players kicking ass with a controller. Had a hell of a time with the dlc in this game and gave up on an UN playthrough until I saw Hugo Martin doing his playthrough on controller. Great stuff man.
@@pangarnek7501 try turn with all look sensitivity up full, also I have weapon wheel swapped to L1 (grenades R1). I have terrible aim as well but it is getting better - but I use the left stick / strafing to aim a lot. Also that's exactly why I use the slo mo rune 😁
@@pangarnek7501 have heard of people getting these things to extend the length of the sticks as well which would definitely help. Also there's Xim Tech that supposedly let's you hook up a mouse to ps4 but it's all $$$. Also if you take a mouse into console Battlemode you go to Hell instantly
Love seeing this man, great job. Not sure what settings you use but I've been using L1 for jump, X for grenades and R1 weapon wheel, also left D pad for grenade swap, I find I almost never have to take my right thumb off the joystick which allows me to aim, shoot and charge up weapon specials while jumping and everything. Also I have my dash set to L3. Been kicking ass ever since I switched.
That is the most messed up setup I've heard of 😅 I've got weapon wheel on l1 so I can still aim while swapping, grenades are on r1. Apart from look sensitivity & smoothing I've left everything else alone. Dash on L3 is interesting though, I forgot there's an empty slot, do you find you accidentally dash or find it difficult to engage L3 while you're moving? I'm gonna try that out For me r2 to fire and r1 for grenades, l2 for mod and l1 for wheel is just logical, and thanks to super mario X *has* to be jump.
@@the_guy_with_da_toast3973 you just need to get past Cultist Base and it's a breeze (well, except Gladiator & Taras Nabad). Apparently backing up your save file works on console that will probably save you your sanity 🤣 All I can say is memorise *every* pickup, jump pad, portal, monkey bar, and demon spawn. I wrote out a plan for all my upgrades as well, and tbh I probably would go for Air Control first if I was doing it again

I've tried many layouts and have been quiet happy with almost the same setting as you describe. I got punch on X and grenades on circle.

Settings/gameplay horizontal and vertical sensitivity to 100. If that's not fast enough for you set look smoothing lower.
