The Doom Hunter Base combat theme, even though you never really hear it often (due to it really only playing in the very first major combat room, where the pinky is introduced) is such a banger.
@@doomenthusiast it was floating around on YT before Ancient Gods even dropped. Apparently there's a gold version of the Doom Hunter with unique attacks. Only PC players have access as usual since Id don't bother releasing master levels
No lie, I've never heard half of this ingame before, but the tempo matches up to the decimal point with all the parts I do recognise... So into the mixpot they go
It only plays once in the game, it starts when the Arachnotron spawns in the Doom Hunter Base arena combat. (Assuming you mean you haven't heard this half of the song? Or do you mean you haven't heard half of this particular video in game?)
I mean I've never heard most of this play ingame or in the OST version from the collector's edition (Mossholder's arrangement). Eg 1:12 Or 4:19 with "Rip And Tear" reversed
A lot of this could have been cut from the game but definitely the same track. Still holding out for official mixes my dude, they'll take our money one day
Goddamn I love this Combat theme. It's really too bad the DOOM Hunter Base only has one proper arena aside from the boss battle, this theme kicks so much ass.
So glad someone finally mixed these songs in a flac version to do them justice. Also, sorry to say, but for your description, we already have the "official" ost and I dont think they plan to release another one
This is the most criminally underused track in the whole game. It's like cultist base but more upbeat (when it drops). Goddamn I need to buy a baritone guitar and learn these.
Just play em on a standard tuned guitar and use an pctaver 😂 pretty sure 90% of Micks guitar riffs are in Drop E. You want 37" baritone to comfortably hit that
@@IconOfSin Haha I'll take that advice. I actually need one anyway because I want to start learning architects' older stuff, off all our gods have abandoned us, if you know them. But really man thanks for these mixes, best on YT
@@SmellyCheeseBro @SmellyCheeseBro 2 things I can't stand in metal: emotional clean vocals & high end arpeggios, especially syncopated, harmonised high end arpeggios. But to each their own! Would love to hear instrumental versions! I was digging Nihilist until the dude started clean-singing. The rhythm section sounds like an absolute blast to play, reminds me I need to go back and learn all those early Carnifex riffs. They're getting rare and they're pretty ugly but the Schecter Damien 9 string would easily get you down to like double drop B or A, something about wielding a guitar that absurdly huge that inspires gigantic riffs, I just put a sock over the extra six strings but the high end register is still there if you're into that that kind of thing. Otherwise, baritone all the way, 4 string baritone guitar is all I need for 99% of what I play 😂 Appreciate it dude! 🤘
@@IconOfSin hahah for sure to each their own. the screaming always is something I tolerate rather than enjoy. In all metal. I absolutely love the “gone with the wind” stems I “100% obtained legally”. That’s the only instrumental studio shit I’ve ever found from them. If you want them I can send them your way! But at least we can meet in the middle and enjoy the fucking masterpiece that TAG 1/2 music is.
@@SmellyCheeseBro oh 100% we can agree on that! 🤘 Yeah man always curious to analyse stems at the very least if you've any way to get them to me I'll check em out 😁
3:18 for those heavy boyos
Before anyone says anything about the time stamp being in the description, not everyone checks it
@@redeyes8536 agree & pinned
it was a crime to just use this theme once
Espacially in the early game where the arena is stupidly easy and short

They need to do a Doom Hunter Base master level *so I can hear this more.*
They most likely will. There's already an unfinished DHB ML in the game files and it even has an elite version of the boss.
@@GameJunkyard11 where did you hear that?

Gotta say, didn't remember that choir in game... Too bad Mick couldn't make all of it done in time for an OST...

One of my favorite song in the ost
4:18 The true essence of anger and testosterone

Man the Heavy flies by a whole lot quicker than Light.

2:09 when you start up your 7 yr old PC trying to put Doom Eternal into it 👹 and it somehow runs it
İs there any sheet music to this song? Id love to hear the really crunchy part in a synthesizer. 5:10-5:30 has the main theme Im trying to extract
