Radio pop rock music isn't exactly hard to play... Not saying it can't be good. It just isn't hard and doesn't take a master musician to play.

@@kennyhouser3467 Well, I agree that on albums such as Morning View Dirk kinda took a back seat with his bass playing. But that's just down to Incubus's change in style and sound. But on albums like SCIENCE and Enjoy Incubus Dirk is a friggin' beast! Even on Make Yourself he plays some incredible stuff to support each song.
And Ben has a completely different approach to bass playing. Check out his bass solo on Sick Sad Little World (Look Alive) version and you'll see what I mean. I think both players are more than just "good", in my opinion.

@@Seit666 Dirk was a beast. His work on Enjoy Incubus and SCIENCE blows my mind. And even as his basslines became less complicated on Make Yourself and Morning View, without his work those songs would not be the same.

Incubus was always one of my favorite bands. They were my last concert to see before all this covid happened. I was able to see my two favorite bands in less than a month from eachother. If the concert experience is never the same again, I'm glad to have experienced both incubus and deftones🤘

Well, the quality of audio version and live are same. I'm always amazed. Talent runs in the blood, they have to be born with it. It's gushing out of them. Snap your fingers and it seems like so easy. Incubus have a genius for music.
