At that time (as I remember) the company forced Jun to lie about his age. So he was revealing the real age of his. He was little bit old to do K-pop idol job at that time's standard. And also, 32 in Korean age was kind of little bit late to marry at that time. (Not for now. Lots of people usually marry after 32 these days) So he tried to say that "I'm old much and the fact that I have no experience of relationship should be weird."
He was just lucky to be in the industry. He was a distraction for the group. The company wanted to get rid of him. So they did by saying he broke the agreement.
This series is very honest and highlights how toxic the kpop industry is. Also shows how much power the fans have in making and breaking the careers of these hopefuls.
Being a kpop Idol is not the same as being a musical artist who performs just for their love of art. The reality is that there's a alot of different things at stake for both the Idol and the company backing them. But if this is the life they choose, they have to endure and persevere.

I really love what Yeeun (Ha:tfelt) said on this episode. "For Kpop artists, I want to love themselves a bit more and voice their opinions a bit louder. As for agencies, I wish they would treat their artists more humanely. For fans and the public, I want to think more about the basic rights to happiness of the artists they love. Idols are people too, to put it simply." That hit differently. I hope the whole series would change the way fans view their idols. They all go through to so much and honestly they all deserve happiness.

When Rado said "People will say, "Wow, these girls are really something else"." (24:18) I got goosebumps because that's exactly what I thought when I watched a STAYC performance for the first time and that made me stan them. It was the best decision ever!!

I can't believe it! I've been listening to StayC "Bad" for months now but never looked into the members or what they look like. And at the end of this video, when they revealed who these girls are, my jaw dropped. I really liked the girls and planned to check them out after watching this video, but the reveal in the end made me realize I've already checked them out! Nice! StayC fighting!!
kpop isn't just about your bias. all Korean people contribute to advancing kpop, all the artists are also working hard. for kpop fandom, it is better if we respect each other's artists and fans, stop the fandom wars.
I think a lot of people should listen to what Yeeun is saying. She was one of The Wonder Girls, she's been in the industry for more than 15 years (they debuted in 2007, so she would have started as a trainee at least 3-4 years before that), and they were on top for years, she knows what's up.
She along with the other older artists like the one from Kara, Dara, and Amber, all seemed so much sadder than the newer artists like the Gidle girls or Seulgi, it really shows how a long time in the industry drains you

They basically stopped recruiting chinese and instead, there are many Japanese now in Kpop groups. Also, there is a rise of Anti-Chinese sentiment in SK that is just too strong!

I am a swith (fan of Stayc) since the beginning of 2021, their first comeback. Now I am seeing for the first time videos like these and I feel so happy they realized their dreams. At the same time I feel sad for Lydia and Minjeong, I hope they can find a way and be happy.

I was glad that someone informed me about this series when I stumbled upon a reaction video of STAYC So Bad. I get to see how they're bonded and worked hard together. Their makeup-less visual are great. And their vocals are on par as well. Even when I'm a bit late in knowing them, it was an experience and privilege to see them in their infancy stage. 🙂
I met them after asap, I saw them and said "they are all visual" when I saw this video I said, they really are natural beauties, I hope they never have surgery, they are beauties, their voices are incredible, I don't understand how little yeeun is the J of the most powerful and deep voice
I hope that as Kpop going more popular in the West and at a global level, the industry itself could also evolve. The whole dating ban is really ridiculous, these are adult men and women and it’s normal for people to fall in love and be in a relationship.
Most fans are teens. If they want to sale a lot then they have to adapt. What normal person would buy 100 albums at least 😂 they are intentionally made to do these things. I guess even if they would become popular in other places, the results won't differ too much anyway. Until they have Lots of fans so buying 1 album would be enough. But seeing how nowadays people only are attracted to what it's popular it would be hard to change something. At least from my perspective 🤔 anyway English is not my language so is hard to express myself translating my phrase in my head 😅🙏 so sorry if not make sense 🙏
Every trainee worked hard and sacrifice their youth without the assurance if they will debut or not and if they debut, there’s no assurance they will hit it big. I hope they showed more trainees in different agencies. Congrats to the girls tho.
Imagine how much pressure there is when you have given it your all for years and at the end, there is a panel that is literally determine the direction of your life. Meanwhile there are people who have invested millions in your success and dozens of people who jobs rest on your shoulders. I can't even begin to understand...
Watching this just a few days before STAYC 3rd anniversary makes me nostalgic, I've been a swith since 2021 and seeing how far STAYC has gotten makes me really really proud, they've just finished their 1st world tour in USA and next year they'll continue it in Asia and I just hope those girls who back in 2020 where training so hard to get a spot in a new kpop group know that they've become really sucessfull thanks to their hard work and now they have a loyal fanbase who will always support them, STAYC GIRLS IT'S GOING DOWN! 💖

Thank you for this fascinating series. I knew KPop was competitive but I didn’t know it was so grueling (sometimes working all night) and that Kpop attempts to achieve homogeneity in the artists. That is interesting because, to me, the most successful artists and groups are those with unique personalities like Itzy, Weki Meki and Mamamoo. I am reminded of Hwasa’s comment that she didn’t fit the traditional notions of beauty so she would have to create her own. And she did.
I'm swith in an insane way, I met stayc by chance on reels, I didn't even listen to much kpop, I've been with them for a year, I found this video recently, and after their last run2u comeback I came to see this and ended up crying, Sometimes I don't realize that those girls apparently so perfect in every aspect, have had to work so hard anyway, and it's ok, not seeing them as goddesses makes me love them even more, they are real I think the stayc agency is the friendliest I know (in addition to having brilliant composers and staff) although they were strict and harsh with the girls, they have humanity. the girls look healthy, they give every member a space to shine, and they look genuinely happy with their accomplishments. Seeing Rado singing with them in her recent win with run2u was very cute, I hope they get along. seeing yeeun, so young, and now seeing her on the stages as J with incredible confidence and voice, made me cry a lot when it started playing so bad at the end of the video STAYC GIRLS IT’S GOING DOWN
Yes, I love that Rado genuinely cares about the well being of these girls. He not only wants them to be memorable for their music, but also to be happy in life and have healthy relationships. I have never really Stan a K-pop group, but STAYC is truly special and I will always cheer for them to be legendary and happy.

i love how they invited han seungyeon, she's really a veteran in the industry and kara is one of the main ggs to really make a huge impact for kpop idols in japan. i feel like newer fans in kpop do not know just how much kara has contributed and just how big they were

I can't believe it! I've been listening to StayC "Bad" for months now but never looked into the members or what they look like. And at the end of this video, when they revealed who these girls are, my jaw dropped. I really liked the girls and planned to check them out after watching this video, but the reveal in the end made me realize I've already checked them out! Nice! StayC fighting!!

I think a lot of people should listen to what Yeeun is saying. She was one of The Wonder Girls, she's been in the industry for more than 15 years (they debuted in 2007, so she would have started as a trainee at least 3-4 years before that), and they were on top for years, she knows what's up.
She along with the other older artists like the one from Kara, Dara, and Amber, all seemed so much sadder than the newer artists like the Gidle girls or Seulgi, it really shows how a long time in the industry drains you

They basically stopped recruiting chinese and instead, there are many Japanese now in Kpop groups. Also, there is a rise of Anti-Chinese sentiment in SK that is just too strong!

한 앨범에 대해 성공했다하더라도 그 상승세을 이어나가지 못하면 계속해서 유입되는 타 그룹들에 의해 잊혀지는 정말 냉정한 세계. 그런 곳에 어린 연습생들이 적응하는 것이 정말 힘들텐데 버텨내고 앞으로 나아가는걸 보면, 아이돌은 아무나 하는게 아니고, 뼈를 깎는 연습과 엄청난 행운이 있어야 비로소 성공한다는 걸 다시 한번 깨닫게 해준다.

I hope everyone who watches this episode changes their attitude towards idols for the better. They are already going through so so much behind the scenes. What is just trying to be respectful and simply ignore if it’s not to your taste.

I was glad that someone informed me about this series when I stumbled upon a reaction video of STAYC So Bad. I get to see how they're bonded and worked hard together. Their makeup-less visual are great. And their vocals are on par as well. Even when I'm a bit late in knowing them, it was an experience and privilege to see them in their infancy stage. 🙂

I hope that as Kpop going more popular in the West and at a global level, the industry itself could also evolve. The whole dating ban is really ridiculous, these are adult men and women and it’s normal for people to fall in love and be in a relationship.
Most fans are teens. If they want to sale a lot then they have to adapt. What normal person would buy 100 albums at least 😂 they are intentionally made to do these things. I guess even if they would become popular in other places, the results won't differ too much anyway. Until they have Lots of fans so buying 1 album would be enough. But seeing how nowadays people only are attracted to what it's popular it would be hard to change something. At least from my perspective 🤔 anyway English is not my language so is hard to express myself translating my phrase in my head 😅🙏 so sorry if not make sense 🙏

Every trainee worked hard and sacrifice their youth without the assurance if they will debut or not and if they debut, there’s no assurance they will hit it big. I hope they showed more trainees in different agencies. Congrats to the girls tho.

Watching this just a few days before STAYC 3rd anniversary makes me nostalgic, I've been a swith since 2021 and seeing how far STAYC has gotten makes me really really proud, they've just finished their 1st world tour in USA and next year they'll continue it in Asia and I just hope those girls who back in 2020 where training so hard to get a spot in a new kpop group know that they've become really sucessfull thanks to their hard work and now they have a loyal fanbase who will always support them, STAYC GIRLS IT'S GOING DOWN! 💖

Thank you for this fascinating series. I knew KPop was competitive but I didn’t know it was so grueling (sometimes working all night) and that Kpop attempts to achieve homogeneity in the artists. That is interesting because, to me, the most successful artists and groups are those with unique personalities like Itzy, Weki Meki and Mamamoo. I am reminded of Hwasa’s comment that she didn’t fit the traditional notions of beauty so she would have to create her own. And she did.
I'm swith in an insane way, I met stayc by chance on reels, I didn't even listen to much kpop, I've been with them for a year, I found this video recently, and after their last run2u comeback I came to see this and ended up crying, Sometimes I don't realize that those girls apparently so perfect in every aspect, have had to work so hard anyway, and it's ok, not seeing them as goddesses makes me love them even more, they are real
I think the stayc agency is the friendliest I know (in addition to having brilliant composers and staff) although they were strict and harsh with the girls, they have humanity.
the girls look healthy, they give every member a space to shine, and they look genuinely happy with their accomplishments. Seeing Rado singing with them in her recent win with run2u was very cute, I hope they get along.

Yes, I love that Rado genuinely cares about the well being of these girls. He not only wants them to be memorable for their music, but also to be happy in life and have healthy relationships. STAYC' s fan base grew organically too unlike those groups who debuted under big agencies and living in the shadows of their popular seniors.
