I’ve been foiling this way for years because I like a small amount of foil and most of the time I don’t want the foil element to be too formal. Love combining foil with watercolor. When I want to foil an image I print with toner and use a laminator. I refused to give space in my craft room for the foiling machines or the foiling dies. I already had a laser printer and laminator. Both of those do more than just foiling. Btw, you can use foiling dies with an iron. You have to press down pretty hard but it works.

Sorry I can't show you anything as I followed your advice to buy things from my local craft shops. I have been using Art Glitter Glue since I saw it on your channel and found it here in New Zealand. Yahhh. I use ‘Eileen’s Tack It Over & Over’ because it stays tacky till I’m ready 👌 Happy Arting 🌹 Edit: if I’m in a hurry I use glue stick.. I like the purple one bc I can see exactly where it is.
What I like about this technique is that if you wanted the gold around the edge, like a matte layer, you don't have to use a whole sheet of gold cardstock underneath... So, it seems like this is also a money saver as well as a time & mess with other methods… I can think of several other ways to use this with little tiny piece projects. Thanks for sharing!
Love love love this. I just bought some foil to use with tacky embossing powder. Haven't used it yet. Have to try this. Looks like fun and don't have to worry about the way it comes out..I'm very fussy how this come out. This will take me out of my box, my OCD. thanks for Sharing..
You can use those inks to make a Easter card! First thing I seen was eggs. Just press a little harder and waaalaaa. I've gotta try it. Perfect not so perfect egg shape. Love it!

I use a quickly glue pen with the foil. Can even write a word, let it ge tacky then rub the foil
