The crazy things you find in ghetto parks..

We went back to the park we were at yesterday, since we found some really nice wheaties and foreign coins and were hoping to find more. As luck would have it, we found really nice jewelry and only one foreign coin - a 1951 Fijian halfpenny with King George the 6th (Queen Elizabeth’s dad) listed on it. It was our first coin from Fiji.
The nice jewelry was pretty much all rings - a 10K white gold men’s wedding band, a massive 950 silver ring marked Mexico, a channel set half-eternity 925 silver ring and 4 other bling rings.
We also picked up our first ever glass paperweight. No idea why anyone would take a paperweight to a park, but I’ve stopped questioning why on most weird stuff we find.
We added over $12 in change to our change jars today.
