My edited version to Sample #1: John & Mary was absent from school today. John is a good friend, who always inquire for help; I am sometimes happy to give my friend assistance when needed. However, Mary usually tells me, that he does not need my help and that he should learn to do his own work😩.
Sample #2: the mistakes (“your” *you are*, “Its” *It has*, “don’t” *do not*, “you’re” *your*).
My edited version: Please to let me know when you are ready for us to talk. I think we have a lot to touch base on or to talk about, for it has been a difficult time for the both of us. And to be honest, I don’t know if I am able to forgive you for the poor actions you have made.
Sample #3: I did not check the weather forecast. Gladly, a friend of mine had told me that it was going to rain tomorrow. However, I made sure to bring an umbrella ☔️ when our group of friends, travelled out to the Yosemite National Park.
The corrections are: “check weather” *checked the weather*, “a friend told me” *a friend told me,* , “a umbrella” *an umbrella*.

I love this video! Although I am confident that I can speak English fluently with probably a few mistakes, I still have a problem organizing my thoughts, choosing the right words, and avoiding repetitive words/phrases (due to lack of vocab). And it's not just in English. Same thing even if I'm speaking in vernacular.

What about phrasal verbs like "Lay out," "Carry out," "Point out," "Set up," "Look into," "Put forward"? Are those also unadvisable? Does every phrasal verb have a better one-word counterpart? If not, how to recognize which phrasal verbs are okay, and which ones aren't? This is especially important because we need to avoid repetition, and one-word verbs will be limited.

What's beautiful about English is that you have so many ways to say "smile", "walk" etc. Depends on the way it's done, maybe also the feeling, etc. That's why I love reading in English more than in my own language 😂.

About organizing your paperwork, you are right. In high school, my history teacher told me the same but in the beginning I didn't want to do it. Then I organized my essay and I became more successful reaching higher points - the better I organized, the more I remembered back from the study material.
