Was mich sehr beeindruckt hat, ist, dass die Maschine so konstruiert ist, dass sie keinen Staub erzeugt. Wunderbar. Aber der Lärm und die Hupe zum Anhalten und Starten des LKWs … es war der pure Wahnsinn.
Im Film " Belagsarbeiten an Jagstbrücke Bieringen und Jagsttalstraße" von Schöntal TV ist eine größere Wirtgen W250i auf einer Nachtbaustelle zu sehen.
Does that particular operator cab hydraulically slide from left to right on the milling machine? All the Wirtgens here in the US have open air controls. Never seen one with a cab like that.
@@DREAMMACHINEShh seems like a much better work environment. Im sure the operators appreciate it,. I get dusted out as it is being dump truck driver on milling jobs, i can only imagine how it is for the ops.
@@DREAMMACHINEShh yeah I get that, have the truck in gear but just let it roll under its own power. That's how we do milling, we use dump trucks though, not dump trailers
The trucks move to destribute the load evenly. One truck was not paying attention and was filled higher than the side. Keep watching the videos and you will see the strategy unfold. This is a small job and the roadway will have few heavy trucks when done
Ridiculous! Where are they consuming fuel and polluting the air? Do you think they are waiting for their turn with full throttle for hours?! Come on! And show me a job like this where trucks arriving not just in time but on the right second! This milling machine is the 2nd largest in the Wirtgen product range with 2 meters width.

Yes it does. Wirtgen has this cab generation since a few years now in Europe
Interesting to see road milling machines in other places around the world.

They added a lane and diverted traffic ?
Yes one lane was added temporarily on the opposite side to have two lanes in each direction. This lane will removed after the job is finished.
Why not have the dump trucks just idle forward instead of constantly stopping and starting?
The milling machines can't push the trucks forward like the pavers do.
