The whole group of us was just quiet and the campers who were with us were old enough to understand that what we were all witnessing was strange and made no sense. It took time to process before one of the campers finally asked "did we really just see that" and me and my co-counselor just stared at each other before admitting to them that yeah, we have no explanation for that and that it very well could be a ufo. But in pure camp fashion, one of the kids cut the silence with a fart, we all laughed, and proceeded to tell everyone at camp what we just saw with of course only some believing and others call bs, as is life. But I know what WE saw, and I will never forget it.

I have been buying original oil paintings from charity shops and collector shops. I recently bought a 1960s oil painting, it is really wide and depicts trees at each side and foliage. However the very centre of the painting has a really strange smooth object with possible lights beneath. It is the main object of the painting. Also strange is that there is a dirt area leading to the object and the artist painted 4 lines, like drag or skid lines, on the dirt, leading towards the object. It is baffling me! The painting is very beautifully painted, scenery, etc. But the central object is a mystery. I wish i could read the artist signature so i could research him.
I don't think it's possible to analyze the work of Michael Pacher (1435-1498) without also considering the much more famous Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1516). I would suggest that they were into weird art at the time.
That "snow" painting and the actual 1950s reference made me think of alien asbestos being dumped on Earth. But by the 1950s, humans were more aware and so, those toxic spewing aliens have never returned. LOL

I love it when someone calls something "unidentified" when he actually identifies it. Besides many if not all of the ancient alien art examples are generally low resolution images. As you showed in your video (thank you), when you see an actual high definition image or look directly at the paintings themselves much of what these people think are our collective imaginings of what an alien spacecraft might look like is nothing of the sort. Much are simply clouds, comets, meteors, stars, etc. painted or drawn with artistic license with hits of religious imaginings.
One of my favorite podcasts, It's Probably (Not) Aliens, had a whole episode on spaceships in art. And Trey the Explainer here on youtube I think has a video about the woman in the saucer at the beginning. Fun stuff to be reminded about! I've always believed that, with all the stars in all the galaxies and all the exo planets that are theorized to be around some of those stars, the odds of life should be pretty good. I also believe that conditions would not have to be earth like to foster life that would evolve into some sort of sentient being. That said, until there is tangible proof that any living thing, or even an exploratory vehicle from some far off planet has visited our planet, I won't be holding my breath to say "Hey!" to any little green men or tall, lanky pale skinned extraterrestials who drop by for a visit.
