EXPLANATION ON HOW RIFTS WORK ~ This is such a scam. There are 8 total rifts and 2 types of rifts you can do in total right now. The two being the Chaos rift and the Digital rift. Each rift has what seems to be 5 different difficulties you can play from. But one of them in each of the Chaos rift and Digital rift are locked for some reason. Meaning the 8 I said at the start. Each of the different difficulties have 1 boss in it. Meaning you can only for the next 5 days, only have the possibility of beating 8 bosses. That doesn’t even get you half way to agent smith. The other problem is to get to the higher difficulties you need gems. Not only that you need to level up your gems to a level 4 and a level 9. There is no way to gain substantial exp on these gems to get them to a level 4 and 9. BUT there is a shop to buy more gems and buy (with real money) gem exp to get into the higher tiers. But once in the level 4 and 9 gem rift difficulties - there will be so many lives and tries you can do in one day. Meaning if you mess up you have to wait a whole day to try again (without spending money to keep going) ALL THIS meaning that you can realistically only do 2 out of the 5 rifts in the Chaos rift and Digital rift. Meaning the idea that you can get agent smith is a lie. This is one of the dumbest and most scummy systems I have ever seen in a game. My suggestion don’t throw days and days into this, it isn’t worth it.

Translation: I a person with no connection to WB or PFG, owner of a small YT channel wouldn't be privy to the fact that the Agent Smith prize tracker couldn't be completed right away otherwise I would've included that in the video, which was released not more than 1 hour after the game came out on console, I'm doing the best I can to be transparent that's why this informative comment is pinned and I have tried to answer everyone's questions as soon as I figure them out myself. I wouldn't have spent 4-5 hours doing rifts to answer a question if I didn't care about the information I put out, so the most I can do for you is change the title.
Pretty much, completing the rifts all the way from left to right will get you points that get you closer to getting agent smith, but what they don't tell you is with the rifts and difficulties that are available right now you can only get like 8 out of 30 bosses done today, and they are a little long I've only completed like 2 bosses so far.
So bosses seem to appear when you finish a rift by getting to the far right side of the rift menu, but to get Agent Smith I realized you would need to beat different bosses in most difficulties so I don't know if you can get him today we might need to wait for the Jason rift to come out soon.

It’s nice that you can unlock the character but in my opinion the rifts can get really tedious by crushing difficulty
That is entirely fair, I hope if they ever do something like this again they make it something simple.

It says 2 weeks early, it seems like he will release as paid dlc later so i am assuming we will until chapter 4 comes out in rifts
Sadly it seems like thats the case if there not more bosses in the chapter 3 jason rift.
