So a very niche tip for the 2v2 players. First off, the sleeping bag has a long enough time for one smash and then a throw, or two smashes. Now where it becomes niche. You can use the partner in the sleeping bag to hit their partner with either the slam or the throw as a projectile. On top of that, you can capture both opponents in the sleeping bag at once. Just some super niche interactions.
Don’t think you mentioned it, but side light, side light, down light (stomp) can chain into grounded up special at low percents. It might not be true, but it feels pretty good for racking up damage from a close up hit

Fun fact- If you used the special side move while the gray health active, it won’t disappear. It’s very handy to spamming the side special then able to hit other move before the gray health disappeared
A thing I like to do as Jason when the opponent is at a lower percentage is if I get the jab combo, I will use mist step and then immediately jab and do the same thing again. It works 3 times.
Jason x Stripe is such a good matchup for 2v2s. Use the sleeping bag to throw your opponents at Stripe right as he does his chainsaw dive. Perfect killing blow
Jasons air down special is actually a really good combostarter if you dont do the second hit by jumping high enough for example, air down special -> down air -> neutral air special is a true combo a bit hard to input tho, you have to get the hang of it
It’s good to kinda spam that teleport move and attack straight out of it. It’s not as fast as you’d hope but not as slow either. Definitely get the jump a lot of times attacking straight out of teleport. Also. Dodging on the ground towards the enemy is helpful. Cuz Jason is slow. And it’s gives him a quick move /dodge to close gaps
Your first suggestion only works against people who really don’t know what they’re doing. Any good player will punish the hell out of that especially if you keep doing trying it
I literally can’t catch a dub when I vs any character with some speed lol, this dude is slower than a turtle my god. The armor can only take you so far when u are literally so slow u get punished for just pressing ur attack once.
You have better control over your actions with the dpad and it makes it a lot more difficult to make mistakes like suddenly turning the other way when you attack. The stick often feels smoother which is why some people use it.
Jason is so cool and was my most hyped character, but he is sooooo slow. Like any fast character can just run away and punish him. In 2v2 he gets rekt cause he is big, 1v1 is good but if they're playing someone fast you are dead.
That’s the complete opposite for me, in 1v1 I always lose cause Jason is the worse when it comes to neutral Meanwhile in 2v2 I managed to win cause my partner is backing me up for my slow movement
you are speaking for YOUR SELF. if you 1v1 someone with speed YOU are dead because if the skill gap. he is about predicting and his power and chin make up for the slowness. and sorry to tell u , u are also wrong about 2v2 because he actually does better while his teamate districts them he gets big blows and grabs in . just gotta practice before saying something incorrect. thats like you picking up a basketbal at three point line and shooting it n missing it then tell the world if they shoot from there they will miss. noooooooo life in general does not work like that when it comes to skilled elements. you are not skilled yet. you will get there but not if you not putting in the work before talking 🙌🙌🙌
@@therealsnuf The game just came out, nobody will be properly skilled yet except for the beta players. Jason is a powerhouse yes but he is just way too slow. I beat every Jason with a fast character. Not to mention he has super slow charging time which can be easily dodged. Also no teammate will tank the hits for you lmao.

I love having a goto tank, that was Superman for me and now it is 100% Jason! Though the dash attack seems a little too picky at times :')
