i think the almost non-existent rear overhang makes the car look really stupid and really fat. not a fan of the design at all, even though i like other RRs quite a lot.
Definitely was a good looking suv when it first came out especially the two door variant but I appreciate the refresh. I definitely forgot that this generation of Evoque was developed under the Ford Motor Co. It uses the 2.0t Ecoboost, 6 speed auto in earlier models, and is based on the JLR D8 platform which is a a modified version of Ford's EUCD platform

I had a 2012 evoque si4 prestige and absolutely loved it. No issues in the two years of ownership.
Small addition: Magnetic ride is a must have option but unfortunately quite rare
