I've updated the description above with the solution. Good luck

Hi there did you actually replace the in tank pump?
i am having the same issue as you were having no start after injectors disconnected mine was replace swirl flaps.
i have primed the pump 20+ times with key to pos II (wait 25sec) and back to pos 0
nothing seems to help almost no fuel rail pressure when measured with Vida 10900 hpa at pos II only 17500hpa when cracking.
no bubbles in inlet fuel flow and no bubbles in return fuel flow when checked.
even vacuum bleed the return flow.
i am thinking now the intank pump might be low flow or the HPFP is some how broken.

If your LPFP in the tank is faulty, you wouldn't get any fuel coming to HPFP.
If there is air in the system, SCV wont send any fuel into pressurising chamber in the HPFP.
Can you hear fuel flowing noise within fuel filter housing under driver side rear passenger seating?

even if the injectors are bad or blocked, i should still be making fuel pressure.
    is this assumption correct?

Hi Dave. Thats right...even with faulty injectors you should have fuel coming to common rail and have enough pressure.
Its very unlikely the HPFP is at fault. When you remove any pipe or hose from the fuel system, it needs priming well and no, I didn't replace the low pressure fuel pump in the tank.
What I did was...I filled the tank half and then kept on priming until there was no air bubble noise coming from the fuel filter area. Car started straight away.
So as the first port of call, turn key to position II and check if you could hear fuel flowing noise near the fuel filter under the rear passenger seating on driver side
