I’m a Norwich , I went to this match and it’s been the best match all season ! This is what the EFL is all about . Cantwells game playing is a joke and most of us fans were telling him to get up . I thought the trip on sargeant was a stone wall penalty I also thought Hanley kicking sharpe was a red . The ref was crap but consistently crap all match . Although id still not want VAR. think it was a fair result in the end . Norwich didn’t take their chances to finish the game off and the longer the match went on , sheff u could have got the 3rd. The best match all season for me .. absolute brilliant entertainment . The atmosphere from the home fans in the second half was electric and was the reason for the 2 goals .
Think the ref played advantage for the trip on Sargeant because it was outside the area, good decision
Anthony agree it was a fantastic game with two talented and committed sides. I admire the way Norwich play so was disappointed with some of their rolling around to win free kicks when they hadn't been touched.
@@johnwyke-smith7402 it frustrates us too . It breaks up play and spoils the game . Cantwell has always been bad for and buendia before him . Preston were bad for it against us the other week and yes it is cheating however I think the term used by managers nowadays is game management . Refs need to ignore it and show players there’s no point in doing it . As a fan I want to see free flowing football end to end .

Resting as you call it 😂 doesn't win games I would imagine Nydiaye himself would have 100 percent wanted to have been starting the game and enthralling the crowd with his amazing and fantastic skills on the ball not to mention his spectacular goal scoring to win games. It's what supporters pay good money for to watch the skills that the likes Ndiaye have in their locker and bring out on match days. I can just imagine some of the Blades past greats like Tony Currie, Alan Woodward etc, RESTING on the subs bench hahaha. The subs are NOT picked to rest. It was the wrong starting team that Hecky put out, the second half proves that.

Cantwell should be in the British diving team at the next Olympic Games. Deliberate diving in order to win a penalty or otherwise should be red carded, not only is he cheating himself but he is also cheating the paying supporters. DISGRACE.

It was a bit of a joke to be honest (from a lot of the Norwich players as well) so I felt a bit sorry for the ref in some ways
If players are constantly going to try and deceive the refs then they can’t be surprised when one that is actually a foul doesn’t get given

Awful first half but we were brilliant the second half and should've nicked it right at the end. Team selection was a joke and those that came on should've started. UTB
Norwich fan here and it was the reverse for us.. dominant first half and big save at the end of it from Sargent kept the game alive. Second half we were terrible hanging on and diving as blades started to boss the game. Penalty miss was poor, he saw the keeper move before he struck the ball but didnt adjust his shot.. big save from Gunn at the end on the line.. draw was a fair result and what a great game and cracking atmosphere

The Championship is very competitive this season. A team with 7 losses in 17 games is second and only 5 points separated the Top 8

Norwich played it safe after leading 2 goals. Played under pressure after that trying to defend n Ignored the danger of Osbourne on the right. Adam Davis amended with penalty saved as both sides has chances for a winner at the end.

It's very concerning that referees are this inconsistent or at least it seems from watching the game. Although this referee was much better than the Blackpool refs performance. I have no idea how none of the officials picked up the kick on Sharp since it was a clear red for violent conduct, if kicking a player with no intention to get the ball isn't violent conduct then I wouldn't like to see what is. I think Gianoulis should've seen two yellows just before he was subbed for simulation and then the late challenge on McBurnie but Norwich fans probably think otherwise. Overall though this game wasn't decided by the referee, I feel a draw was fair although if any team was gonna win I would have said the Blades were knocking. Much more promising second half but need to start our strongest 11 or at most rest 1 player at a time since watching poor old Sharp up front was just not up to it, as much as we love him, he can't keep up at the moment but as a sub he could be more effective
Norwich would have won that if they didn’t start with the so called gamesmanship. Cantwell is a disgrace he really cost Norwich with his diving it just made the crowd get behind the blades and it was the spark they needed
Norwich need a brand new defensive line. Pukki and Sargeant would seriously do a better job at getting close to the opponent with the ball. In every game they give too much space.
