      @@ShealeysGarage Absolutely! I'm on stock twins for now. How do you like the 6766 as an all-around street turbo? Do you run pump gas? I'm weighing this vs a 6266 or 6466.

    • @ShealeysGarage
      @ShealeysGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@robvigesaa5738 I love the 6766, very streetable and lively. I honestly feel this turbo is vastly more responsive than the stock twin setup with loads more on the top end. I actually wanted to go with the 6466 however it was out of my budget when I originally went single turbo.
      I’m currently still on pump gas and limited to 16lbs. So the turbo really isn’t even in its peak band...however once I swap to E-85 I’ll see if its lacking on the top end.

    • @ShealeysGarage
      @ShealeysGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@robvigesaa5738 Personally I wouldn’t run anything smaller than the 6466 on a single turbo setup. Both the 6466 and 6766 give you room to grow towards 800hp in the future.

    Beautiful car bro. I am just cracking into mine. Starting with BPU's this year, but hopefully next year or the following I'll be ready for a big single. Until then I'm stuck with the stock twins.

      @ShealeysGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man. The car is very enjoyable to mod and dude...it’s such a difference going from BPU to an APU setup. I would say enjoy the stock twins while you have them and best of luck with your build. If you get in a sticking point and have questions feel free to hit me up.

      @@ShealeysGarage for sure dude! I'm loving the car so much. I'm not in too much of a hurry to modify it. A lot of the mods I have and plan to have are really similar to yours! What size and offset do you recommend? Keep seeing multiple things on the forums. Looking for a nice fender fitment without rub.

    • @ShealeysGarage
      @ShealeysGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So I’m a little different than most Supra owners in that I didn’t want to go for the drag tire setup. I always envied modern sports cars and there handling derived from the wheel & suspension setups. So to mirror that, I build this car to handle like a dream and hook. My wheels are 18x11.5 in the rear with a +50 offset and 18x10 in the front with a +42 offset. Allowing me to run 315’s in the rear and 285’s up front with no rubbing.

      I ordered these wheels from DSG Performance and they are custom special order from Work Wheels due to the offsets. The fronts are 18x10 with a +42 offset, and the rears are 18x11.5 with a +50 offset. It took about 6 months for delivery after placing the order.

    The tweeter location would be ideal at head level, higher frequencies don't travel through objects like lower frequencies like your bass. But I know sometimes is hard to modify speaker locations.
