Boomerang was created as a channel that is supposed to air old cartoons, especially old Hanna-Barbera and MGM cartoons. Now Boomerang barely airs their older properties besides Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, and they air new shows that still make episodes.
It's not perfect but here's my idea for a Boomerang Schedule (aka here's what I'd do if I was in charge (with a tiny bit of realistic expectation (I think)) First Weekdays 6-8am Cartoonito 8am Banana Splits 8:30am The Snorks 9am Hong Kong Phooie 9:30am The Wally Gator Show (could be any four hanna barbera shows but I just chose these four) 10am-12pm Tom and Jerry (remember what I said about some realistic expectations by that I meant two hours of Tom and Jerry and three hours of) 12-3pm Looney Tunes (2 hours of the original followed by The Looney Tunes Show and New Looney Tunes) Now an idea I had was that kids would be coming home from school by then so why not do some more Modern stuff (not TTG or Gumball modern but like Late 2000s early 2010s) 3pm Garfeild Show 3:30pm Johnny Test 4pm Total Drama 4:30pm Krypto (it aired on Boomerang a little bit and I can't think of anything else to put here so yeah) 5-7pm Scooberang (There was a block called this but it's not exactly the same thing (I think)) Scooby-Doo Where Are You What's New Scooby-Doo Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated Be Cool Scooby-Doo 7-9pm Boomeraction Johnny Quest Teen Titans Samurai Jack Ben 10 (The Original) 9pm-6am Just random stuff (I'm not doing all 24 hours especially since 9-6am is more or less the graveyard spot (maybe 9pm isnt but definitely 10-6)) Now for Saturday 6am-12pm Hanna Barbera Classics (6 hours of classic Hanna Barbera going in order of) Wacky Races The Smurfs Huckleberry Hound Yogi Bear Quick Draw Mcgraw Magilla Gorilla Atom Ant Top Cat The Flintstones The Jetsons The New Scooby-Doo Movies 12-2pm Dexter's Lab The Powerpuff Girls (The Original) Billy and Mandy Chowder 2-4pm Boomeroyality (a 2 hour marathon of a certain show based on a certain character being chosen as the King or Queen) 4-5pm Tom and Jerry 5-6pm Looney Tunes 6-9pm Boomerang Theater Sunday 6am-12pm Hanna Barbera Classics (Same roster as Saturday) 12-4pm Johnny Bravo Cow and Chicken Courage My Gym Partner's A Monkey KND Camp Lazlo Foster's Home Flapjack 4-6pm would be the same as Saturday 6-7pm Scooby-Doo 7-9pm Boomerang Vault (here's an idea that will only appeal to me and maybe like 5 other people a Boomerang Block based on all of the obscure stuff you would never see otherwise (even in the graveyard slots)) And there's my idea hope you enjoyed
Just like I said to Kawaii Life Antonio, Boomerang is inserting newer CN shows just like How it did in the 2010s, but the whole reason why is because it's supposed to target the audience in the morning hours since Cartoonito is on, and The good thing is that boomerang is putting off of Autopilot.
Wow! I didn’t expect my comment to inspire a whole video. I’m gonna be an optimist and say that Boomerang is gonna stick around BECAUSE they don’t spend any money programming it. That being said, they could make a very interesting schedule just by taking full advantage of the CN library. They just don’t want to. I guess they don’t ever want Boomerang to outshine the actual CN.
Maybe it make money to create a channel. Let's see, maybe, can we see them making a new channel, maybe not, but should we have a better schedule than today? I believe Toonami make money if it comes back to Boomerang or Cartoon Network, or even air old shows on Boomerang ( instead of in the midnight, when kids go to bed ) or even on Cartoon Network ( to bring more money to the channel ).
Well I wish that Cartoonito was its own separate channel just like Nick Jr. and Disney Junior which also have their programming blocks on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel respectively.

I think they should rethink the scheduled for both Cartoon Network channel and Boomerang channel and get rid of Cartoonito completely off Cartoon Network and don't put Cartoonito on Boomerang channel either. Do something else with Cartoonito like give it its own channel and everyone should be happy. So that it does not mess with the schedules of Cartoon Network channel and Boomerang channel. Fix both channels like they was back in the 2000's and restore Boomerang channel back to it original self where it is all coming back to you with all the classic cartoons. Cartoon Network's channel schedule really does needs fixing like show one or 2 episodes of a cartoon that is 11 to 15 mins long and bring back the 20 something mins cartoons and show 1 episode of those.
Boomerang used to be awesome when I. had direct tv. Kept my dvr busy. I stopped watching Cartoon Network after Power Puff Girs, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly Dog went off the air. I have the Boomerang streaming service. They haven't added anything new in a long time.
There are alot more cartoons even more episodes of looney tunes and tom & jerry that still hasn't shown all there episodes. There is absolutely no way Cartoonito would be on Boomerang. Boomerang is not a big enough channel for it. Cartoonito is on Cartoon Network because the channel is more recognizable than Boomerang and many people don’t even get Boomerang unless they like upgrade their Cable package. It’s probably even why Boomerang doesn’t have their own version of Toonami. Luckily I don’t have to with DirecTV since I do get the channel but if I remember correctly, there are lots of shows you can watch on the Boomerang app but the channel hardly ever airs on the channel or even never airs. I remember not to long ago like a year ago I was watching the old Garfield & Friends cartoon on Boomerang. There is a bit of a yes we get it you love Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry but you feel like those are the only cartoons that exist if you look at Boomerang’s schedule. Them adding shows like Teen Titans Go feels as if Boomerang is trying to become more relevant but at the same time not giving what people want. While it’s true that Teen Titans Go and Gumball are a decade old or even older, but if you’re constantly airing them on Cartoon Network, there is no nostalgia in those shows. Put something like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Show, SWAT Kats, Powerpuff Girls Classic(plus Powerpuff Girls Z even if there is no nostalgia in it for U.S. fans), Sheep In The Big City, Robot Jones, Time Squad, fix the legal issues with Megas XLR, Billy & Mandy, etc. Even some Flintstones and The Jetsons would be great.
Ok, at least Disney XD and Nicktoons did air Nick Jr./Disney Junior shows for preschoolers, and I think they shouldn't, that would be fine airing preschool shows, but at least from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm ( even though they need to air Boomerang shows ). But what about Toonami come back to Boomerang, should they? Action and anime shows would be on Boomerang ( since Toonami aired from Cartoon Network to Adult Swim ( even though probably shouldn't ) ).
There's also a new schedule tomorrow where Regular Show and Ben 10 return to Boomerang which means Camp Lazlo, The Smurfs and Baby Looney Tunes are getting replaced.

Quite frankly, airing shows currently airing on CN on Boomerang goes against the point of Boomerang. The channel should air older shows that don't get reruns on CN anymore, like how it showed Hannah Barbara shows back in the 2000/early 2010s. Otherwise, the channel becomes redundant.
Before that happens i’m gonna apply for a broadcast control room job at turner, go in there and air the old boomerang bumpers temporarily for as long as possible until I get fired LOL
Probably because Disney and Nickelodeon air their shows on Disney XD and Nicktoons, and if they did, it might NOT be a good idea and you might hate it, but still, if kids don't want to watch preschool shows or they're bored, then they will make kids or people interested in the schedule, but you might want is old shows, of course, they still need to air old shows, but at the same time, they already their shows at midnight instead of daytime or the morning and they need to fix that, but at the same time, we don't Boomerang to shut down, even if Boomerang is NOT great or Cartoonito need it's own channel, then still though, I wouldn't want to see it too shut down at all, I'll watch the schedule, like Disney XD and Nicktoons.
If I was making a schedule for Cartoon Network, I would bring back to Toonami, and make Adult Swim end at 10pm ( maybe ), and air Cartoonito on Boomerang or make 4 hours of Cartoonito on Cartoon Network.
Personally, I don’t think this schedule will last long because I think their trying to see what the viewers would watch more during that time since Cartoonito isn’t doing well. If Boomerang gets more views than Cartoonito during that time then hopefully Cartoonito will air less or get the axe, and Boomerang can change up their schedule. It’s a stretch but hopefully that’s the case.

I mean, it’s a plus to wake up to Tawog for me, but I’m mainly in school when these shows air, so I don’t have too much to say, but it’s clear that Boomerang won’t go back to airing old shows. So instead of thinking about what they used to air, I think we should think about what they should air if they don’t air old shows anymore. I think they should air some 2000’s CN shows, but after 12-2AM, cuz even though I’m awake normally at that time (problems sleeping and stuff), others may not be. I think they should air PPG, Dexters Lab, B&M, and Courage again because I really liked when those were on the schedule. Maybe air some obscure shows so people could remember them again. I wouldn’t want them to remove Looney Tunes, bc it’s fun to guess which one will come on tonight (my guess is either The Yolks on You or Feather Dusted) since they air the same ones all the time.

Put something like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Show, SWAT Kats, Powerpuff Girls Classic(plus Powerpuff Girls Z even if there is no nostalgia in it for U.S. fans), Sheep In The Big City, Robot Jones, Time Squad, fix the legal issues with Megas XLR, Billy & Mandy, etc. Even some Flintstones and The Jetsons would be great.
Ok, at least Disney XD and Nicktoons did air Nick Jr./Disney Junior shows for preschoolers, and I think they shouldn't, that would be fine airing preschool shows, but at least from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm ( even though they need to air Boomerang shows ). But what about Toonami come back to Boomerang, should they? Action and anime shows would be on Boomerang ( since Toonami aired from Cartoon Network to Adult Swim ( even though probably shouldn't ) ).
There's also a new schedule tomorrow where Regular Show and Ben 10 return to Boomerang which means Camp Lazlo, The Smurfs and Baby Looney Tunes are getting replaced.
After Midnight til 6AM they air Codename: Kids Next Door, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Chowder, Camp Lazlo, The Smurfs and Baby Looney Tunes
Oh and Looney Tunes from 4am to 6am
Weekend Mornings they air The Looney Tunes Show, Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated, DC Superhero Girls, Dorothy And The Wizard Of Oz and Tom And Jerry Tales

Just get rid of Baby Looney Tunes and Be Cool Scooby-Doo, then the network will be perfect. Surprised CN isn't embarrassed buy these 2 failed reboots.
The best part about Boomerang was that you could watch old Scooby-Doo in the morning and a Scooby movie at night. They shouldn't break that.
Quite frankly, airing shows currently airing on CN on Boomerang goes against the point of Boomerang. The channel should air older shows that don't get reruns on CN anymore, like how it showed Hannah Barbara shows back in the 2000/early 2010s. Otherwise, the channel becomes redundant.
I think Boomerang will be gone by 2025 and maybe just turn into a block on CN like it use to be in the 90s

Probably because Disney and Nickelodeon air their shows on Disney XD and Nicktoons, and if they did, it might NOT be a good idea and you might hate it, but still, if kids don't want to watch preschool shows or they're bored, then they will make kids or people interested in the schedule, but you might want is old shows, of course, they still need to air old shows, but at the same time, they already their shows at midnight instead of daytime or the morning and they need to fix that, but at the same time, we don't Boomerang to shut down, even if Boomerang is NOT great or Cartoonito need it's own channel, then still though, I wouldn't want to see it too shut down at all, I'll watch the schedule, like Disney XD and Nicktoons.

Moving Cartoonito to Boomerang would also make sense because internationally Boomerang has been having a Cartoonito block for years
If I was making a schedule for Cartoon Network, I would bring back to Toonami, and make Adult Swim end at 10pm ( maybe ), and air Cartoonito on Boomerang or make 4 hours of Cartoonito on Cartoon Network.
Personally, I don’t think this schedule will last long because I think their trying to see what the viewers would watch more during that time since Cartoonito isn’t doing well.
If Boomerang gets more views than Cartoonito during that time then hopefully Cartoonito will air less or get the axe, and Boomerang can change up their schedule. It’s a stretch but hopefully that’s the case.

I mean, it’s a plus to wake up to Tawog for me, but I’m mainly in school when these shows air, so I don’t have too much to say, but it’s clear that Boomerang won’t go back to airing old shows. So instead of thinking about what they used to air, I think we should think about what they should air if they don’t air old shows anymore. I think they should air some 2000’s CN shows, but after 12-2AM, cuz even though I’m awake normally at that time (problems sleeping and stuff), others may not be. I think they should air PPG, Dexters Lab, B&M, and Courage again because I really liked when those were on the schedule. Maybe air some obscure shows so people could remember them again. I wouldn’t want them to remove Looney Tunes, bc it’s fun to guess which one will come on tonight (my guess is either The Yolks on You or Feather Dusted) since they air the same ones all the time.
Well, I don't know if there is much of point in air current CN shows on there. Though I would like to see different Looney tunes like maybe the new shorts that aired on HBOmax
