I feel for the browns. Give up on mayfield and mortgage the farm to get Watson and he just doesn’t have it anymore. Now, Mayfield is lighting up for Tampa Bay and Watson can’t throw past a first down
In NFL history if a team is down by two touchdowns or more at half, and don't score an offensive touch-down, the record is 3-338. The Bears got it to 3 wins yesterday. They also have the other two.
Is one of the other times during Grossman's 1st or 2nd yr?? I seem to remember them winning a crazy game like that under him when they got 2 Hester returns for TD's or something like that
@nolongerblocked6210 it was the miracle in the desert in 06. Rexy turned the ball over like 6 times I think. But Hester got one return that put the Bears up for good. Urlacher had 20 tackles that game.
For Dashawn Watson dealing with troubles that he had in Houston and ended up in the Browns uniform with the great contract for both sides, it was almost a “Happy Ending” for him and the drama that he had.
The Bears offensive line did not play well, but I think how good the Titans' defensive line is, was the major reason. The line is probably not going to look any better in their next game against Houston (Anderson and Hunter).
Dak has an interior fire. Something that does not need to be stoked with dollars. I think that has been clear throughout his career. A true competitor. Watson has been up and down and hard to read. So respect to Dak. And this from a Seahawk fan, so don't think I'm saying this as a rabid Cowboy fan. I hate Dallas.
I think it’s really interesting to sandwich the Colts Texans game between talking about the Browns and the Giants. Don’t settle or over play your hand for a veteran QB. CJ and Richardson are fresh and interesting meanwhile the idiot Browns and Giants blow their load on terrible.
You wanna know what's real DP... no team's taking the preseason seriously is leading to sloppy play!! The lack of preseason playing time for the starters was blatantly obvious yesterday
Against the cowboys this week we will see if Carr has really improved or if Sundays show out against one of the worse teams in league was just about it. And I’m a saints fan.
Cleveland might be looking at losing a second team to relocation. No one up there has the money to pay for an expensive new stadium. What the owners are asking of the city is insane when this is the product you’re selling. Imagine a struggling city trying to come up with a billion dollars to give to a moron owner. I feel bad for the absolute worst fans (as a Steeler fan), but they’re still fans and deserve better.
Where will they go? The Los Angeles and Vegas cards are off the table. I don't see St. Louis or Salt Lake City is willing to build a new stadium for them.
@@scruffd0g193 with a first round pick who can roll over the largest amount of cap space into 2025.. they might not be totally fucked. Their GM Andrew Barry saw this disaster coming last year and has made moves to try and get out of it as unscathed as possible.
Here's a REAL statement, no OVERREACTION, the jets are a 3-14 team. And I'm currently rocking jets socks, shirt, jersey and boxers. I'm 44 and will be long dead before we have a 12-5 or better record.
Bears fan here, at the end of the day a win is a win but the offense sure didn't look much improved from last year. Hoping they are able to find their groove moving forward. Center will be an issue and Velus Jones is who we thought he was.
Caleb definitely looked nervous. I think he’s gonna be Ok. Didn’t care for some of the predictable plays. Hope Odunze’s knee isn’t too serious. But Cleveland 😮. How could you give a guy with his psychological baggage $220 Mil GUARANTEED. They are so screwed.
Only people that actually watches the games, breaks down film and do their homework knows that the saints are frl this season. Look past the panthers and how bad they are, but consider how the saints played them last season and the differences in the offensive scheme/play calling…you see a TOTAL change on both. The saints were HORRID running the ball last season on anybody…this season they’re using pre snap motion and zone blocking to get these guys in space..it worked too good first game. Last season they struggled big time scoring in the red zone all the way up to like the last 6 games of the season. They were 4/4 on Sunday. People forget the saints went 9-8 last season, only missing playoffs by tie breaker with the Bucs. They had a top 8 total defense, and top 10 total offense…DESPITE it being carrs first season with the saints, despite red zone issues, despite injury to Carr, despite having no run game. They went into the offseason and addressed the issues they had..and you saw it on full display on Sunday although a small sample size…you can’t deny they weren’t doing anything like that last season. The saints were already a solid team especially with the talent they had..they were just very inconsistent because of those issues mention mainly bad play calling by the OC. Now they have kubiak and he called a flawless first game
Watson has never been a top 5 QB, that year they won 4 games and he had great stats was because of stat padding, games were out of reach and then he started ballin... at his best he was 11-15...

A lot of real guys in the league who can’t stay healthy. We’ll see

" Throwback jerseys?.. I thought you said THROW UP ! ". - the Giants
Arthur Smith might not be a head coach material but he is a REAL offensive coordinator. Something we haven't had in Pittsburgh since Todd Haley.

Close, Dan. AR-15 had 9 completions, and the throw was closer to 70 yards off his back foot.

Definitely Watson.

The offense is definitely better with Kubiak. Not saying they'll beat Dallas in week 2 but they are better.
That's the understatement of the year they might not score 17 next week
@julianc6863 True, but if The Browns scored 17, I'd like to think the Saints could as well.
Dallas literally has one person on offense. They aren't that good either
