There are things called "rocks" in the ground. Can't screw a pile through a buried 5ft boulder.
No you cannot. There is a time and place for the use of concrete footings. As for Screw Piles, the soil must be tested to ensure screw piles can be used. Best soil uses are Sand, loamy, clay, gravel, and small fractured rock based soil

how do you deal with electrolysis?
If it is deep enough they can put in an anode rod to help. They are still rated for 75yrs in most applications.
