@@jrserrano9396 Hey there - Nope. I don't know what the heck it is. But it still persists. When I punch it / accelerate rapidly it produces almost an "rotten egg-like" stench. I'm thinking it's something to do with the catalytic converter? Ever heard of this?

I have a 2012 Fiat 500. Sometimes I smell something odd in the cabin. And sometimes there is an excessive amount of grey smoke from the muffler. Also sometimes experience what looks like the same smoke from under the hood.
@@AutoRepairTips757 Im not sure. It isn’t pleasant. I usually roll the windows down and open the sunroof but that helps little. It goes away after a few minutes.
If you run your blower motor and use the fresh air selection and not recycle it will come in through the vents a lot. But it will find its way in anyway
Hello I have a 2006 Jetta 2.5 and I got a P0305 which is cylinder 5 misfire I changed all the spark plus and coil packs and it still has a misfire and I smell a lot of raw gas from the exhaust and tips sir?
I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado 5.0 vortex check engine light is blinking and smell of gas is coming out of the exchaust and it’s stuttering on take off but once driving has it’s power back any help ?
Take a fuel pressure gauge take it and read it see with the PSI‘s then cut it off and make sure it holds pressure for a little bit the gauge should not come down fast if it does could be a regulator or injector
I’ve been to 4 garages including the dealership and non can find what the Smokey smell is coming into the cabin. My exhaust has been checked, coolant system, battery, cabin air filter etc. I wish I could find the source because the smell is driving me crazy.

If you definitely smell exhaust come in through your vents you might want to check for an exhaust leak somewhere under the hood maybe exhaust manifold
It's not either one. I checked and there is no exhaust noise either.

@@Airjerm49 check for oil leaks from the v-gaskets you might have two different things going on. start with that

You need to check your heater core that’s most likely what’s leaking if you’re seeing antifreeze inside your car and through your vents

You need to stop driving it and get it looked at ASAP
You probably need a new catalytic converter or ur flex pipe is the problem

Are you smelling Gas fumes or oil dripping on a hot engine through your vents either way that’s not healthy you need to get it looked at ASAP
So the problem is the front cover gasket?
It was on this car, it is definitely something to look at if you’re smelling fumes inside your car

You can confirm if your valve cover gasket is not good by looking below the valve cover on the edges,there is an oil leak.
