I absolutely love your tours through the locals ”backyard”. It’s much more relatable to me than the magnificent trips you will never do or just once in your lifetime as a hobby cyclist. Even if I sometimes dream about them. Because you have a cooperation with Komoot, I have a suggestion. Could you curate tours from followers, so Komoot users can send you their tours and you present the best of them. It is really hard to find gems like you presented, but with the community backing you that could be possible.

This is my dream ride, I must be channelling Ollie! Just spent last week staying in Ambleside (Stock Ghyll Falls), hill walking and road cycling, and my car... Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (albeit an Alfa Red one) 😄 Just need to persuade my other half to swap my Giant for the Pinarello (not going to happen)
I just had the chance to bike 100 miles on roads closed to cars in the Yosemite National Park. Incredible scenery, smooth roads, nice weather. Yeah it may be the perfect ride.

Of course what the Lake District doesn't have is Italian drivers! In my experience Italian drivers love cyclists. The safest I ever felt while riding in an inner city was Naples, some car drivers even stopped at green lights just to let me past through my red light so I didn't have to stop!
Loving the Withnail & I reference "The finest... known to humanity" - especially since you were in the Lake District.. just not quite the tea room in Penrith! :-) Awesome ride and vid guys!
Ollies dream ride is Alex's nightmare, first it's rain, then climbing, then Ollie leaving in an Itialian sports car, and to top it off Alex must think he's colour blind from the paint job of the bike!
Absolutely awesome, I would have loved to be touring the lakes with Ollie and Alex, but I think I may have needed to borrow Hank's Dad's E-Bike for those 25 percenters!
Jer H Know its a joke but they don't break down anymore than most other marques - Tesla! . At his rate there will be no choice but boring German cars that are hardly stars of customer satisfaction. And yes I do own an Alfa Quadrifoglio.

That's my stomping ground, although I have only tackle those roads on my petrol driven bike. I'd need way more practice before relying on my legs to propel me round those roads 😂 Hats off to you guys 👏👏👏
@DD GG In the UK you can only be arrested for being drunk on a bike, there is no legal limit per se unlike with cars, a pint or two is perfectly legal, albeit a bit foolish

Windamere is actually the name of a hotel in Darjeeling, India. Some fantastic climbs there, I'm sure - maybe an idea for a future video?

The Lakeland Loop route in the Lakes is a cracking route, taking in the big climbs and incredible scenery
