- Speed up your editing in Davinci Resolve the SMART WAY!
One of the most frustrating things about editing is just how long it can take. Even the simplest of jobs can last for hours. In this video about Davinci Resolve I wan't to talk about a way to speed the whole process up by using the magic of Smart Bins.
I'll talk about why you might want to use Smart Bins, how to create them in Davinci Resolve and how they will improve your speed when you're in the edit.
Once you know about Smart Bins in Davinci Resolve you'll never go back to not using them!

Love the chair turn! Great video haha.
You had me at swivel chair! LOL.
Thanks for the tip! Coming from premiere I ignored pretty much everything about resolve that wasn't done the same way as premiere to get editing fast again, this will be a time saver on quick edits!
Glad it helpes!
I highly, highly recommend, that even though you have been using Resolve for some time, to do their training videos on their TH-cam channel.
You can even download the clips they use, and follow along, but you don't have to. But for better memorization of the things they teach you, it's the best approach.
There are different training sessions, for the diffent tabs, like editing, audio editing in Fairlight, simple compositing in Fusion, etc. Each training subject is 3-4 videos, around 1 hour long each.
So do a one hour training video, a couple of nights every week, and you'll learn so much more, than by trial and error over years.
Probably a good idea... if i ever get the time 😆
That's pretty handy. Thank, mate
No problem. Glad it was useful
Smart bins are so handy, and DaVinci Resolve offers you so many options. Great video, you have a new sub 😉👍
Cheers for the sub mate.
