A tip for the Lanvin ribbons: trim the frayed bits off and then use a lighter to run a small flame on the tips really quickly! The very end will kind of “melt” and form a thin, tough barrier that will prevent the ribbon from fraying further.
It may be a legit tip but tbh i wouldn't put a lighter anywhere near a 2k € pair of shoes 😂

I don’t like kitten heels or mules, I either go for trainers or a proper high heel, so with that being said those YSL chunky sandals are to die for 😍 and if they’re comfortable even better, but...your shoe collection is gorgeous! And it totally represents you and your style 😊

Ballerina trick: run a lighter flame gently along the end of the ribbon on your lanvin trainers to seal them and stop them from fraying. (of course you should cut the already frayed parts first.)

love the shoe inspiration! top tip: cut the frayed bit of the shoe ribbon then carefully burn the end of the ribbon very slightly with a lighter/match!

For your Malone Souliers, have you tried buying those gel inserts that you stick to the inside of the shoe? they basically lift your foot for shoes that are a little big which can make them feel so much more secure!

Amelia, perhaps you can spray the Jimmy Choos with scotch guard fabric protector? I have a denim Fendi bag that I was worried about, and sprayed two lawers of scotch guard on it, and it's been immaculate ever since. : )
Do you have any tips for waking in heels? I have a problem with them flipping off the back of my foot alot.

Amelia get some baby wipes and clean your trainers after wear especially the white rim near the soles and they stay like new. I learned that tip from someone on TH-cam who advised using them on the handles of LV bags after each use. It’s such a good tip. X

We are such polar opposites when it comes to shoes.. haha. I have large, "fat" feet, most shoes are usually too small for me, and I almost wear nothing but black shoes, can't keep anything white, least of all shoes! xD I get mine altered to be bigger sometimes, I'm pretty sure a good cobbler would fix that Malone Souliers pair for you in a flash! (No relationship by the way... my last name is Maloney, not actually Malone, haha! And I, too, am not all that fond of their souliers...)
As a New Yorker, my rule of thumb for shoes is: if I can’t walk in them for at least 10 blocks, they don’t even make it into my closet! 😂
I agree ysl shoes are chunky . I understand you choose them for the comfort because I don’t think that shoe suits your style .

Heel protectors are a necessity and there is protector for satin as well as other fabric type footwear.
