I'm curious, as the vid transitions into the Shadow section, I can't really tell the difference between where you painted the Khorne Red...OH!! I get it! The transitions between light and shadow are hard to see because the shadows are just desaturated Khorne Red! Because to my eyes it looks like you had already blended the transition between light and shadow. Also when you painted the red, did you do multiple layers, or just a single layer?

Stay with it brother! It’s like you insinuate, there is the conceptual grasp and the technical grasp. The technical is just time putting paint on model, but it’s very nice and satisfying once it starts to let loose and you feel like it’s starting to look the way you want it to. I still go through those struggles, even 10-20 years later you know. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻
@@OscarLars Yeah, I bought one of those little 2 packs of Bones minis once to practice on, and that's when I realized just how good TH-camrs are at blowing them up on screen, lmao. Thankfully, what I'm trying to do is for 1/20 and 1/24 scale figures, so they're bigger, but inversely it also means there's more room to screw up, lol. I gotta hit Amazon or something to find something affordable to practice on. Maybe the train guys?
