- Interesting watches are the heart and soul of watch collection. Unfortunately, too many are so expensive they are out of range of the average collector. Here are three groups of watches that should be in range of most collectors, adding interest to their collections.

These are some of my favorite videos Bill. I couldn't agree with you more when it comes to Chaumet. I have 2, a Dandy Arty and a Dandy Big Date. Although the movements might not be High Horology (Agenhor Ageness gears not withstanding), the cases and bracelets are second to none. I really like the Hermes Arceau Grande Lune too, although it's right at my size threshold.

Every time I wind up my Dandy Arty and set it (which can be a challenge with the crown betweenr the lugs at 12 o'clock) I'm reminded to take my time and enjoy the craftsmanship of a renown jeweler with a history of emperors, kings and the wealthy of the world. Take care, Bill

Hi Dawgs...I just dress for comfort; hardly a fashion plate. My favorites are paulstewart.com (cap & sweater); Filson (shirts, wool vest), Capas Headwear (Caps); Brooks Brothers (shirts, sweaters); Johnson & Murphy (shoes); Orvis (shirts); Taylor Stitch (pants)-the big thing is comfort-I get alpaca socks from. Pacas. I have no one to impress, but before leaving the house my wife will check that I'm not too comfortable. Take care, Bill

Also, in the Chaumet Dandy line, your Dandy Arty is the one I most fancy. (I thought the word ‘fancy’ was most appropriate in this context:) By the way, I was surprised to read the Chaumet-designed Paris ‘24 Olympic medals are apparently rusting and requiring replacement at a rapid pace. Odd story. 🤷🏻♂️
Andrew, when I heard that the Paris Olympic Medals were deteriorating I knew that this would be the biggest disaster to hit Chaumet (and LVMH who owns Chaumet) since the Chaumet brothers went broke trying to corner the diamond market. Fortunately, the men's watches are more like Chaumet's renown jewelry. Take care, Bill
To be clear, I wasn’t throwing (precious) stones, diamonds, or whatever else at Chaumet or LVMH. Just a strange story. I’m hopeful it gets resolved quickly and without too many more hurt feelings. (The pre-deteriorated medals are really cool!)
