I just bought one of these boxes yesterday for $70 and I didn’t get a bad box like I got 7 young guns and two dazzlers and the young guns were , Joel hofer, Connor mcmichael 05/06 styled , Kevin bahl, jack rathbone, kodie Curran, Patrick khodorenko, Austin strand and for the dazzlers it was Kevin lankinen, and Joel farabee
Lafreniere also has an updated 2020-21 Young Gun in this set, an actual game action shot with the 2020-21 design
5:36 that Pasternak is a short print, The normal version is him in a black jersey

It's almost like an update set minus the trade deadline changes. Chara had a card in series one or two where he was on the Bruins still and now has one with him on the capitals. Would have much rather they scrapped this release and just did the usual SPA update inserts. They could have gotten rid of the red parallels or some of the authentic moments inserts in SPA and just include more of these update cards.

I ordered 4 and got some really good pulls. Overall my favorite was probably the Kaptizov orange dazzlers the card looks fantastic

I just opened up a box and pulled the Lafrenière 05-06 retro Young Guns, I was completely shocked, anyway not bad of a box, the AllStar base are pretty cool I wish you pulled a crazy card, but maybe next time
Call me crazy, but what interests me the most in this product is just base cards of players I like with their new teams like Holtby, Dubnyk, Tanev, Chara, Hall, etc. I’ll save my money & snag the singles off eBay for cheap hopefully.
I like this series more than he does-got 6 boxes coming tomorrow. Like the Matiss K tribute in the background. RIP

Given how close Ice is to being released I'll most likely pass on getting much if any of this release. I think that they could have just done a 100 card update set with 10 YG's and called it a day.
As a sens fan I'm jealous about that Zub YG

I like a lot of the lower tier players that don’t usually get cards I collect those
Series extended sets are always very hit or miss, Only thing I really want out of this is the Sens Base Cards, Zub's rookie and some cool Sens inserts. That Norris you pulled was pretty sweet!

I wouldn’t buy this product but I do like that it gives some guys who would normally be in regular upperdeck a chance to get some base cards.
Decent amount of caps cards and Holts on both caps and canucks
I like the 05-06 retro young guns, great idea!! Not a necessary product tho, just a marketing strategy to generate more consumption

The Hall wasn't updated either as they still showed him on the sabres.....I'm passing on this set until the price comes down

In series 2 Yelesin and Pinho go with Kaprizov but you mostly get just Pinho and Yelesin in a tin or blaster. Hopefully in extended Zub and Stanley go together in hobby and retail because those are 2 good ones

How can you check the value of a card? Because I got this nico hischier young guns I’d like to check out
when I think about why serial numbered products are numberd to 1,000 for example, I think it's fair and suitable for the day and age we live in. 'Back in the day of serial numbered products' in the 1990's the world's population was around 5 billion. Here we are at 8 billion in 2022.

I think they should have dropped the Young Guns, added more throwback cards and called this Upper Deck Retro. The 05-06 YG feels like the only reason to buy this box.

Top players are super good! Caufield, Byfield, Zegras, and probably top picks from 2021 draft too! Detroit will have Seider, maybe Raymond, and maybe Joe Veleno, and Ottawa may have Jake Sanderson, Shane Pinto, and Jacob Bernard-Docker. Drysdale too

Weird that they put a Cole Hults card in for the LA Kings. Should have made a Rasmus Kupari YG instead at least he played a few NHL games.

If they were smart, they would have. Even one top YG would make the product actually sell. This garbage will be available factory sealed for years to come.
