Ikr. It's kinda like how the Bedlam witch from Coraline encounters and lures innocent children to her trap. Both Hocus Pocus and the Coraline movie have similar tendencies. 🎃
Thanks for that information. Now the song creeps me out further. It just shows there's just something out there that just wants to take even from children. Self-interest to the max. Excuse my way of typing this kind of speech. Point is, that is creepy in a way that says "Get the freak away from these people!"
Little known fact: James Horner actually wrote the melody to this song. He was slated to score the film but dropped out, leaving only this simple melody behind. His replacement used it for Sarah’s Song... because James Horner was a friggin musical genius.
My favorite song in this film. It's absolutely bewitching, dramatic, eerie, mysterious... Seriously can't get enough of Sarah Jessica Parker's beautiful voice!
Just throwing this out there. That's Sarah Jessica Parker... the woman universally laughed at for looking like a horse. I almost didn't believe it was her.

Why is this the scariest song I’ve ever heard, something so hauntingly beautiful about it but the fact their just bringing children to *kill.* really makes this song chilling. FROM A DISNEY MOVIE!
wow , theres something about this song that brings some relaxing feeling in me . not sure what it is maybe its the beautiful voice that seems so mystical going with the music. or maybe it triggers this child inside of us all that wants to get back to those childhood days that most of us long for. anyways love the movie it still brings back good memories.

now im totally creeped out but damn this song almost sounds angelic in a way it fools you but then you think of Lucifer, the fallen angel so it makes sense 👿
She had beautiful singing voice
It’s honestly emotional because you love Halloween so much and this movie brings the excitement for Halloween
Witch: *does hypnosis on children with MAGIC*
Dude: “hEy gUyS! DoNt lIStEn To hER! DonT LisTEn tO heR!”
Little known fact: James Horner actually wrote the melody to this song. He was slated to score the film but dropped out, leaving only this simple melody behind. His replacement used it for Sarah’s Song... because James Horner was a friggin musical genius.
Thank you for sharing! I love learning behind the scenes movie facts.
I watched this when I was young and got hypnotized. Now I'm 22 Iv been looking for this song my whole life. Finally, I can rest
+MegaFriendlyCreeper how did that joke even get so popular? i never got that joke. people make fun of celebrities for no reason.
this is the only time I find her alluring, beautiful perhaps
+MegaFriendlyCreeper
I think her nose has gotten a bit bigger, but I've always thought she was hot regardless.
+edwinplayer SJP helped with the joke herself originally in the movie Ed Wood.
anything is possible with a little magic ;)
What it feels like when you’re 30 and set your tinder age range from 18-25
Bruuuuh
Lmao
I don't get it. Is it because girls 18 to 25 really like 30 year old guys for some reason?
@@PalashaGabarra once you hit 30, people in their late teens and early 20s seem like children to you due to the gap in maturity and life experience.
@@ZenJestr Oh okay. Thanks for explaining that.
I just randomly sing this song. Its the one sing from this movie that stuck with me. People tell me to shut up though so clearly i don't have her power 😂
I'm 26 and have only now watched this movie! Every single year around Halloween I see this movie being hyped up everywhere. It absolutely did not disappoint. This song was my favourite part of the whole movie.
Come little children, I'll take thee away,
Into a land of enchantment.
Come little children, The time's come to play,
Here in my garden of shadows.
Follow sweet children, I'll show thee the way,
Through all the pain and the sorrows.
Weep not poor children, For life is this way,
Murdering beauty and passions.
Hush now dear children, It must be this way,
To weary of life and deceptions.
Rest now my children, For soon we'll away,
Into the calm and the quiet.
Come little children, I'll take thee away,
Into a land of enchantment.
Come little children, The time's come to play,
Here in my garden of shadows.
Thank you, are those actually in audible I the background, or is there an official transcript somewhere?

*Magic.. Garden of magic. Not shadow
Garden of magic in the movie. This is a fan made song, but still good.
Who's still listening in 2022?😂
Meeee

Me! I remember watching this movie back in 3rd grade, I loved Sarah right away just because she's funny, and she's such a beautiful singer!! ☺
@@reynarodriguez9742 lol I still watch it every year on Halloween
@@akamescarlet8523 Wow! So do I! In fact, I have the movie on my iPad's iTunes Library! 😄
This song littereally was hypnotizing as a child
This song is actually... quite beautiful and enchanting, haha.. Watching this movie/scene back, I still can't believe how short the song actually is
WE NEED A SEQUEL!!! Bette, Kathy, Sarah..... dust off the brooms!!!

Oh God NO!
YES o-o
They all agreed to return if a part two is made.
YES!
Why is this the scariest song I’ve ever heard, something so hauntingly beautiful about it but the fact their just bringing children to *kill.* really makes this song chilling.
FROM A DISNEY MOVIE!
Disney had balls back then. Now they're to woke to get it up.
now everyone gets offended by anything so Disney wouldn’t dare
Look up disney and all the racism and all around messed up things he believed..he was definitely screwed up in the head.
@@tsilva2183 lol it’s funny
Remember the 90s Disney movie they were killings in like a bunch of their movies
I hope in the sequel Sarah sings this again 🖤
nah as iconic as this is, i want a new song that is just as hypnotic and entrancing
yes she does, in the beginning when the girls turned on the candle
As a scorpio born in the fall This is My kind of music For October 31st🧡🖤💜🍁🍂🎃🍁🍂
wow , theres something about this song that brings some relaxing feeling in me . not sure what it is maybe its the beautiful voice that seems so mystical going with the music. or maybe it triggers this child inside of us all that wants to get back to those childhood days that most of us long for. anyways love the movie it still brings back good memories.
Aviccena 20821 I felt this!
It’s the siren like voice haunting beautiful hypnotizing haha we can’t help it but want to hear
THIS IS WHERE THE ORIGINAL SONG WAS RESTING ALL THIS TIME... WOW...
Reese Paul THaTS HOW i FOunD tHIS mOVIe tOO
Sarah's voice i could listen to her all day long
I really won't lie, Sarah has gotta be the most adorable witch in every scene.
Hands down my favorite scene from this movie, Sarah's seducing and luring voice is amazing.
Her tits really reel you into it.
@@karlmarcs31 MHM 😏🥰😳
Mine too, Ive been obsessed with it ever since I was a kid and even now still that Im 30
It's what pulled me into the story as a kid. I rented it on Amazon video and they took the intro with this song completely out. It wasn't the same.
@@karlmarcs31 yes. it was pretty sensational to show that cleavage but she was cast as a sort of bimbo. Like when she s driving the bus sitting in the lap of the driver or kissing at the party. And actually that makes this stand out. Its not bogged down but the sentimentality or fluffiness of being a kid's movie. It plays its theme very well.
Childhood crush
A reason I’m a witch is because of this movie. The way she flew in the sky and landed to me was magically perfect!
Come little children
I'l take tee away
In to a land
Of enchantment
Come little childen
The time's come to play
Here in my garden
Of magic.

Peluchin Garcia Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Thanks I was looking for the lyrics 😄
I also did watch the video
It may have been an evil hypnotic spell, but man, Sarah's singing was still enchanting, and I don't mean in the mystical way.
