To this day I’m still surprised no game has done it as well as Tribes 2 did. Literally more than a hundred voice commands. We had better/more teamwork with random people than most games these days can do with a mic. Nuts.
@@Naaka_311 Nope, it isn’t. To this day I still haven’t experienced teamwork with random people on a public server like I did back then. It was super easy to have a capper coordinate with an escape vehicle and wait for a heavy attack, coming in on a transport. All of that through the voice commands. The announcement/request/acknowledgement/task system was excellent and organically created more teamwork. In most games you have no clue what everyone else is up to or what their needs are. Even using a mic it doesn’t work as well/clearly since there are no in-game indicators, unlike with voice commands.
Kinda in general but Not really. When it comes to WW2 titles now, This game is overrated lol. Post Scriptum is the game that's underrated. Few appreciate the historical accuracies and details the game had, especially to the uniforms and guns. Few appreciate it because it's a stressful game for a casual gamer. In HLL you can hop in shooting and lone wolfing without you being frustrated and can hop in to chill. Which is okay and yeah nice. But it's not my cup of tea. Most of my game are silent game, everyon do their own shit even if I try to encourage everyone to play more coordinated as their Squad Leader. I play more often in Post Scriptum for that solid WW2 experience with the hardcore milsim, role playing, and the big necessity for communications and team play. Also as a history buff, I appreciate that the infantry division I'm playing at is appropriate to the map. Battle of Carentan is a battle between 2 paratroopers, it's the 6th Falschirmjäger Regiment vs 101st airborne. You expect an FG42 Falschirmjäger waiting for u in Cafe de Normandie. This is on point in Post Scriptum, Germans in Carentan are wearing Falschirmjäger uniforms and you have FG42, and Americans are wearing 101st airborne uniform. In hell let loose, in Carentan soldiers are just ww2 looking soldiers, german wearing trench coats and other inappropriate cosmetics that kills immersion (for history buffs). HLL doesn't have plans to fix these inappropriation because it's not in their game's philosophy, Heck they will add more cosmetics in the future.
Yeah, you can see it that way, but comparing 2 games with a year of diference and PS having the owi core of Squad since the begining, while HLL is being built from zero(not zero like zero, cause it is built in UE, but not having a base code) doesnt looks fair right? HLL is indeed trying to recreate the scenarios of the battles, theres videos showcasing the aerial views compared to the maps, it is more casual, yes, it is more accesible to the new people too. about the cosmetics, yeah they are trying to bring more, and the community is happy about that, it is usual in the reddit to see a lot of "history buffs" coming and complaining about cosmetics, being shut down with the facts that the game is in development, showing sources from where the cosmetics come AND that the devs have said already(AMA, DevBrief of U7, etc.. ) that they want to bring togable cosmetics options for each map being client side. So yeah, if you say the game is against history buffs, you cant be more wrong, the game is made by people who loves WW2 history, but the game hasnt even finish some core gameplay mechanics, it is in EA, and they are working in a lot of features that they think is needed most, is not like they just dont care. PS is superior in mechanics, sound design(maybe the best in the world) and maybe even gameplay, but is biggest downsight is its community, trying to be elitist at the point that new people is insecure of tryng the game cause the comms and mechanics knowdledge they need, appart from limiting the options the devs have for more accesible gameplay.
@@castanedaibanezoscar732 I agree with you, hopping in to the community with Zero idea about Post Scriptum might put some players off due to the community being to hostile to new players hopping in the match. The learning curve and culture shock is hard for some. And majority of people in the match are serious in the game, like most of them are no chill (except Logistics of course, Logistics is the most chill squad) This is not a problem for me since I had my Reserved officer training back in college. The immediate thing I did is to follow orders from the Squad Leaders (which a problem for new players who's used to deciding on their own in their games). The community is not that hostile if at the very beginning they'll let their team know that they're new, 99% of the time I get nice response when I started with that. But really HLL is not my cup of tea, had enough with mix of arcady hardcore WW2 titles I've played in the past years. Just hoping for PS to get new hires and go back with their pace and launches of official Chapters. At the moment it's the history buff Community who's makin an initiative in creating new theaters for PS for the reason they're capable of grabbing talents and experts to develop new Community made chapters with PS's core philosophy of historical accuracy.

Have both and just don't have nearly as much fun with Post Scriptum. Although PS hits the authentic time-period accurateness that I want. However HLL is way more fun imo
@@mashattack551 i have nearly 750 hours on Post Scriptum, and im still having fun with it. The real magic is when you got your squad or even the whole team (this last thing is very hard thou) working together, the sounds, the explosions, and gunplay are awesome. The thing is that the game can be really slow or even boring when there is little to no comms on the squad, but even so you can have fun being sniper or AT (hunting tanks) or a sapper/pionier to take down enemy spawn bases if that happens. The game can be very slow, but at the same time can give you PTSD if there is artillery, mortars, Stukas, strafe run, or tanks defending or attacking the objective, its really intense. The game experience really relies on comms, you can't put markers on map as normal infantry unless you're Squad Lead or the Commander, so if no one talks, nobody knows where the enemy is coming from. Hell let loose is great too in my opinion! but for now i like more Post Scriptum. Im waiting for more content on HLL. If you like ww2 theater as a whole, you should buy both.

If only the game was fun like this all the time, it’s basically a fucking walking simulator, way too much down time, and they need to fix the damn servers
Squad leading is hard in this game, difficult to get into a squad where someone listen. What do you expect from a game with lots of casuals and COD bois.
Dont even bother buying this game. Gameplay is great but 80% of the servers ban you for not using their language (german/french/russian and more) and the 20% that are in your language are either empty or full with a full queue.

Hi Karma. What about CoD servers? They’re all down. When are you going to fix that. Thank you!
Karma I wanna make suggestion
I think you should a WW1 FPS called Verdun, I think you’ll like it
The two sides of Karmakut:
Squad leader in a 1-life event
Giving his life for the fatherland
I love the title "infantry action" and Karma ends up in a Tank anyways.
Everytime lmao. Never lives up to his titles
Always good to see some Hell Let Loose!
Heck let loose always fun ygah!
"Infantry Action", plays tank for half of it.
Armored infantry 😳
