Man. This was honestly on another level. I feel hyped for a version we've already experienced wholly.

As a Chinese, I can honestly say that, the plot of Inazuma with all these conflicts and figures which are intriguing, are naturally composable due to vast amount of interesting Japanese manga/anime products created these 40 years. As for sumeru, it's like drawing on a white paper. We need give'em time to warm up.
Ironically sumeru did have a much better archon quest, but this is a good thing as hoyoverse has show that they will improve their writing over time

The 4.0 trailer just came out. This still gives me chills. The music, the characters, how everything is so artistic and unique in a cinematic sense. Raiden Shogun still has the absolute BEST character entrance YOU CAN"T ARGUE. The archon quest was very disappointing, but thanks to everything else about this beautiful region Inazuma will always be my favorite!! The music, the scenery, the lore, the world quests, it's immaculate!!! I feel so nostalgic remembering how hyped I was for Inazuma, the wait was SOOO worth it!! 3.0 and 4.0 trailer were beautiful but nothing will ever give me the same chills as this cinematic masterpiece

3.0 trailer is already out and I can't help but compare this one to that. And I must say, Inazuma 2.0 trailer is still top-tier and truly the best one Hoyo has given us. I can't help but feel nostalgic with what I felt before when we were actually walking right in the middle of a civil war, and how Hoyo revealed the Raiden Shogun to us. Booba sword really broke the internet.
Still, I am hoping that 3.1 or 3.2 trailer will be on par with this one.

The magic of this trailer is that before they show this, there is little to nothing information about the characters they introduced here. This trailer is the first time we see them in action and the transitiom between Ayaka and Yoimiya carried the whole trailer. And after that mihoyo still did not stop and show other characters and the Shogun as the finale. One of the best trailers of a game all time!

Yeah when the concept art for Inazuma came out I thought it looked really pretty and inspired but I wasn't expecting the game to look just as good or even better.
Very well done on Mihoyo's part.
Damn, even after all these years, the trailer intro and music built up for this is still so epic when compared to 3.0 or 4.0 (Ayaka's intro, Yomiya into the Resistance war, Kokomi's landing and whooooaaa Raiden's reveal) Though 3.0 and 4.0 also had their great moments, 2.0's arrangement still gives goosebumps today.

Is it just me or the storyline’s of Liyue and mondstandt are way more humble than the god literally trying to kill you
Because unlike Barbatos and Morax, Baal seems rather unhinged or at least uncaring when it comes to carrying out her will, she’s the “whatever is necessary” type while simultaneously expressing contempt for the thoughts and opinions of her entire nation. She doesn’t strike me as a legitimately evil character quite yet but she’s definitely not playing around.

@@starsigma1155 yeah, im assuming she doesn't care as much for the citizens of her country given her pursuit of eternity lies much beyond a few civilian deaths and their current suffering under the decree. it's interesting, her principles lie much further away than the 2 gods we've met so far.

same bro same, this just feels infinitely better
2.0 has a very strong, cohesive tone, an intertwining narrative in and of itself. The eternity theme and the civil war conflicts are very much present.
3.0 just feels like a series of introductions one after another. I think they should have leaded more heavily on the parallels between the desert and the rainforest and how that symbolizes the themes of knowledge, wisdom, and ignorance.
