Checking out Hamilton model 22

Bought this non running watch. Going to see what I have to do to get it to run. Hamilton Model 22 Chronometer Watch in brass bowl. 21 jewels. This video performed by an amateur. Do not attempt at home. No watches were harmed in the making of this video. For entertainment only.

I did not expect such a beautiful movement in a watch cased like that, wow. Nowaday a lot of movements does not look as beautiful as that, not even close even though they have see through case back.

I have not checked the cooksy book(last edition) for prices yet. Ebay special for 207 USD plus tax and shipping. I put in a low max bid and was surprised to get it. A running one is at least 500 USD without a box. With a box add several more hundred.

Zeno watches are expensive but through the miracle of ebay I bought a heavily used one, complete with finger nail catching scratches on the crystal, for a fraction of the cost of a bright shiny new one. This one is so beat up that if I add any marks to it I won't notice.

These are a lot of cabbage and some potatoes also. Bought the staff from ebay but I think it was a swiss one because all the diameters are oversize. Have to get a second hand.
