Gentaro mistakenly thinks Kintaro is being bitten by his father Momotaro! There is a reason.
Little by little, Gentaro is getting better at keeping his distance from his father Momotaro.
When Momotaro was not used to raising a child, Gentaro was bitten by Momotaro at times, so when Kintaro is covered by Momotaro, Gentaro seems to be a little worried. From this video, it looks like Gentaro also wants to play with his father while touching dad's buttock, but on the other hand, he is also a little worried.

Father Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
He is hesitant in new situations and is a loner.
His father died before he was born, and he had never spent time with a silverback.
He had already turned into a silverback by the time he was 10 years old.
He is struggling with unfamiliar child-rearing.
Mother Genki ♀ (1986/6/24)
She is 14 years older than Momotaro and has a role to support the whole family mentally.
She has had a tumultuous and eventful life.
She has returned to her birthplace, Kyoto City Zoo.
She had never been blessed with a baby but after meeting Momotaro,
she had two sons.
She is a very maternal female gorilla.
First son Gentaro, male (2011/12/21)
He was separated from his mother Genki soon after he was born.
Genki's milk production was not very good.
He was raised by his keeper for his first10 months.
Because of this, he is very fond of humans.
His face is so expressive, and everyone enjoys watching him.
Second son Kintaro ♂ (2018/12/19)
He is just very strong-willed and independent.
He has big eyes and long eyebrows.
The way he plays a lot with his brother Gentaro is
makes everyone smile.
We can't wait to see what kind of gorilla he'll become!

My beautiful Gentaro. He looks pensive at times, so deep in thought. How lovely it would be if we could read his thoughts or find some way to communicate in a way we could understand more fully what he is thinking and feeling.
He needs loving by his family.
@@karenmeech4948 Yes, he does, but that isn't going to happen. It saddens me that such a sweet, gentle boy is ignored and treated as a non-entity. I keep thinking 'hold on, Gentaro. One day, you will have a home and family of your own, then you will know a love and joy you have never before known.' I hope then, he will forget the neglect his birth family showed him.
Who is neglecting Gentaro? Momotaro love to pretend biting, & Genki has been harassed by Gentaro from the 1st time she brought baby Kintaro out Jan 2,2019. Ginki has been very patient with her oldest son. She has delt with Gentaro looting Kintaro, he waits for a chance to do a run by, a surprise drop down , I am surprised Kintaro is still alive! Look for his 2 front teeth... they got knocked out by your's truly. Watch the videos!
Gentaro should of been moved, at least by the time he turned 10 years old. I am sure he will be a great father.

@@kathieshirley that was kintaro baby teeth. He will have adult teeth in a few years. Zoo thinks him eating his bark make them fall out. Gentaro not as mean as people think. 🙋 I read that under one of the descriptions on here.
I actually think it’d be kind of cool to see Kintaro get really big but still cling to mama whenever he wants never leaving her side haha it’d be so precious. The bond between the two is incredible.
Silverback Kintaro will be introducing MaMa to his new wife mate in about 10 years…..grandma Genki will live with them and babysit…..

Gentaro's like "Run fool, I just rescued you." as Gentaro is hauling butt before Momotaro chases him. The things older siblings do to keep the younger ones safe. Gentaro is going to be an exceptional husband, father and protector. ❤🦍❤

Gentaro rescuing his brother was very funny but it worked. Kintaro however didn't look like he wanted to be rescued. These brothers are great and fun to watch.

There's nothing like a blue blanket to snuggle with,and kintaro does a good job with his blanket.He also still likes to snuggle with genki,and genki still loves the affection her little boy shows towards her.

I remember how Kintaro was always trying to escape Genki's hold when he was tiny, trying to have a go with Gentaro. Now that he is 3, Kintaro keeps close to Genki, hugging on her.
She spoiled him....

That's not the first time Gentaro has used that tactic to free Kintaro. I know the video you are referring to and this one is different. In that other video, Gentaro pulled Kintaro out of the sandbox by his leg. In this video, he drags him by his arm away from his father.

I wonder what takes place that the baby is so insecure at times? He hangs on her like he is fearful of something aweful.
Natural phenomenon like thunder or loud sound.
Additionally he is so insecure whenever his dad Momotaro feels uneasy against something. Silverback is leader in a troop and so baby relies on his existence.
Genki thinks Kintaro is a little baby.

Awww… I’m not too sure Gentaro was trying to protect Kintaro… i think he was probably trying to join in on some fun… I don’t think he was ever worried daddy was hurting his little bro. Daddy is one of the most gentle leaders I’ve seen in silverbacks on YT.
Not sure but we can assume two cases.
Jealousy or protection
He was bitten by Momotaro when he was at the same age of Kintaro because he was bigger and Momotaro didn’t get used to nursing a kid.
