The feeling of walking along a plain green meadow, wind gently blowing, fluffy white clouds floating above your head and the sunset peeking ever so slightly over the mountains in a distant. So peaceful and calm. This song makes me feel like I'm dreaming being in a beautiful place.

This is the last piece of the professor's final concert, listening as it accompanies the professor's departing figure. Farewell and smooth journey, to the great master, Mr. Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Struggente. Un altro gigante che ci lascia. Addolorata abbia perso la battaglia contro il cancro. Art is long and life is short. E lui sarà eterno per sempre. Peccato non averlo mai ascoltato in concerto.
Jesus cherishes you my friends, may you get to know the true good Lord personally if you do not already, He offers to you hope, salvation, and companionship with himself- something we do not deserve In His great love He offers this to us
This piece is about the beauty of the simple yet important things in life: the morning wind, the goodbye kiss of someone you love before going to work, eating alone while watching people walk outside, a sunset, the stars in the sky at night, looking at you. It's amazing how Ryuichi Sakamoto can make simple notes feel so intimate.
A friend of mine plays this very music for me - "Opus". After that day, Ruichi Sakamoto became for me the most beautiful, the most gentle music I have ever listened to! Rest in peace Mr. Sakamoto! Until the next reincarnation!
May he rest in peace. Maybe I say this because I'm also a musician, but I think anyone listening to this can sense that it was a beautiful soul that created this piece. The calm and nostalgia that it gives to me, personally, are so strong. I wish I could thank the person whose gift allowed him to evoke such warm feelings.
Alex, you & I both. Knowing that he's now gone forever, realizing that it's not because of an expense, but because of the finality of death & it's beyond our control. This just makes me sadder & a bit angry because there's nothing that we can do about this 😢 ❤
I'm sitting on the sandy beach and just enjoying the day while listening to this beautiful melody, had a day off, so decided to cone and get some sun light, as it's cold most of the times here in Finland..
Was listening to this on the bus to visit my grandparents one year ago. A few months later my grandfather passed away, due to covid i never got so see him again. I didn't know it would be the last time i met him. It's an incredibly haunting piece
thank you for the story... it makes me realize that you never know if it's the last time you meet people... so cherish every moment with them never know when it's the end, for you or for others. so be grateful
I’d like to sing someone to sleep, to sit and be right next to them. I’d like to cradle and gently lull you, and accompany you sleep-in, sleep-out. I’d like to be the only one at home who knows: the night is cold. And would like to listen within and without, into you, the world, the woods. The clocks, striking, call out to each other and we can see to the bottom of time. And down below there’s a stranger stirring up someone else’s dog. Beyond, silence begins. I have wrapped my gaze around you; and it holds you gently and lets go of you when something moves in the dark. lyricstranslate.com
saw the news that my favorite composer is gone forever. RIP Sakamoto Ryuichi. I will always listen to your songs, feel them from the bottom of my heart and remember you.
I love this tasty pianism of Professor Ryuichi Sakamoto. I remember his brilliant activities of YMO decades ago. However, this piece is different from the exceed technician of the Western Classical music.

And these is the same Ryūichi Sakamoto who composed "Behind the Mask" in 1978, which was covered by Michael Jackson and Eric Clapton, and in the words of Josh Baines, the Editor of STUMP UK at VICE Media, "almost single-handedly inventing electro-setting the ball that eventually rolled itself into becoming hip-hop into motion-with the still-mesmeric 1980 single 'Riot in Lagos'” - which is the first song hip hop and electro-funk pioneer Kurtis Mantronik cited in a July 2002 interview with Hip Hop Connection Magazine that inspired him to make his own music.

holding my 7 month old grandson in my arms....... this has become our morning routine. .... I love to watch his reactions to the emotions in the music
