Everyone is still learning it seems. One of the most useful moves is dodge rolling, specifically using that to recover dropped swords. Allows you to dodge any high incoming attacks while re-arming yourself. Apparently no one knows that.
The Game Pit I say as I see Ryan employ the technique in the Grasslands stage. Meh

Ryan also threw the sword at Jeremy and failed over and over, and when it was his turn he intercepted the swords and didn't do what Jer did, jump.

I loved Ryan when he showed up and grew to like him even more as he developed his little
Inside joke personality. Lindsey has been in tons of videos and is still one dimensional so are Matt and Jeremy and I don't see that changing. The gameplay of this video is entertaining but their commentary is terrible. If you put the b squad in a game like Mini Golf it would be awful and plain boring. The AH crew has the ability to take games that aren't as funny to watch and turn them into something entertaining. Some games don't need a lot of commentary like GTA or something where funny situations happen often so someone who sucks like Matt could be masked but when you put these dullards in lets builds or other videos it's just not entertaining content. Hopefully they do lot get incorporated into actual Lets Play or Go it would ruin the series'.

this tournament sort of played out like a movie. Ray the skilled swordsman was well on his way to winning as everyone predicted, but the underdog, Jeremy, worked his way up to the top for the final battle with Ray. In the end it was Ray's own arrogance that defeated him. (not really but for the sake of it sounding like a movie we'll just say that)
Well, more like Ray's own wrong move(aka throwing the Sword right into himself)
Quite poetic. In the end The only one who could defeat Ray was actually himself. (Not to downplay Jeremy's victory).

This may have been the most entertaining gaming related youtube video I have seen this year, certainly the most tense competitive gameplay I have ever seen.
BTW you can tell Ray is enjoying it by how loudly he yells. Notice he doesn't scream "Let's Play!" anymore, well; "Final Screen!!!!!"
Man, Jeremy has really GROWN into his own in Achievement Hunter. He sure is standing TALL after this episode. No one could have expected how BIG he would get in the company...

***** Lol right? I'm a freak of nature. But in all seriousness I don't really dislike any of the AHs, the only one that took me awhile to actually enjoy was Lindsey. ONLY because they didn't actually give her a stand alone play, but when the Lets Build came out and Fibbage allow the hilarity to ensue. Also the Lets Watch of PT.

A whole 2.5 minutes of practicing against Ryan was defiantly the reason of why he won. /s

Keep in mind that this is a fairly simple game and Ray certainly didn't get anywhere near that playtime. If you didn't notice, Jeremy managed to pick up a trick in his fight against Ryan that was very difficult for Ray to learn to counter. In that time, Jeremy also learned that the best way to kill someone unarmed is to sweep them. Can you really say that Ray wouldn't have been able to learn those with an extra 2 1/2 minutes of close fighting?
I fucking love it when people stretch their tiny minds to come up with the most bull shit reasons of why someone didn't win. Jeremy is better at the game, get over it.

Man, I get a good laugh out of most Achievement Hunter videos, but this one had me cracking up the entire time. Every time Ray yelled 'FINAL SCREEN!"... had tears rolling down my face in the end. More of these, AH!!!

I know Achievement Hunter wants it, we want it, everyone wants it.... MORE TOURNAMENT LET'S PLAYS! I mean come on, maybe not a weekly series, but still do this maybe once a month or something.
I KNEW this was gonna be great! This is the perfect tournament game. Especially for Achievement Hunter! I kinda wish they would've done best 2 out of 3 or something so that it'd be a little longer, but this was still and epic video! Also, THIS is the Ray that we've come to know and love! It's great seeing him like this again.
