One suggestion. You bought all that beautiful colored glass but it totally gets lost on those very dark shelves. If you painted the inside white, the glass would stand out beautifully.
One thing I recently learned the first time I got a reed diffuser is the more reeds you put in there, the more intense the smell will be, and it will also get used up faster. I really enjoyed a little bit more subtlety with the scent. The reeds make that intensity very adjustable. As much as many people love the smell of candles and the read the fusers, it can get a little intense for a lot of people, so you might want to be careful with that. I say, especially in a more closed room. I love the smells but they give me intense headaches after a while. Just something to think about. I really love all the new store stuff. And I can't wait to see you start doing the things in the shop again and making stuff happen. Do you still have the airbnb and if so how's it going?
It’s an awesome collection, but it does get lost on the dark shelves. Certainly fixable….. you can do that in all of your spare time….. 😂😂😂 I’m exhausted just watching you guys.
From a seasoned business owner....if you can put out a portable sign...that is the best form of advertisement along with referrals. I would suggest looking at successful furniture stores to see how they display their furniture. You need many price points and lost liters to draw people in. I think your you tube audience is way different than the in store business. In retail people do not want to know all the details they just want to see results. Though everyone is happy for your success and accomplishments, not everything needs to be told.. the mystery keeps them coming. Love to you both and continued success. Yes owning a business is 24/7....that is what it takes to make a business a success...❤❤❤❤
Nieman is a Public Relations Whisperer! He is so good with people and customers, and just from some of the clips, it looks like he makes each of them feel special and that their attendance and support means the world to you guys.
But you two are You Tube sensations!! That news headline was not exaggerated. The whole furniture flipping and You Tube thing exploded before you even know what happened. Your entire story is online and that is sooo exciting for those of us on the sidelines. I am just so very happy for you both and send you two great wishes for more success than you imagine. And another thing….you guys really were due to have ALL your furniture, materials and filming studio in one place. No more storage units and fiddling around with garages and hidden spaces in your house to get things done. It is all together in one space like all professional businesses. You two outgrew the little side hustle to pay off a student loan and expand your filming skills ages ago.
I have been refinishing furniture for 20 plus years. I specialize in full-on restoration although I always enjoy a good painted flip too. You are 3 years into this journey and have come so far. When I started there was no such thing as TH-cam and it honestly was just word of mouth. One of the things that I have found over and over is don't let the end of a journey so to speak be a mood buster. I'm not really sure how to say what I'm trying to say... I don't have a storefront never have never will I just understand the experience of working so hard to reach that end goal and then it's done. Each of those accomplishments needs to be a positive bullet in your "finished file" of your thoughts. Don't get disappointed when everything doesn't fly out the door right away. I recently sold a dresser that has been sitting here for 5 weeks. Because my prices are so incredibly reasonable I was completely shocked that it took that long. On a recent vacation I just sat near the water and thought about the fact that not everybody sees everything in the first 24 to 48 hours. Patience, oh patience is a really tough thing I understand but let it be and it will happen. They're also comes the side of it where you have to be completely realistic too. We all know that a certain piece of furniture will sell for very different prices based on location. I'm sorry I didn't mean this to sound like a lecture... I feel like a big sister so to speak watching you evolve and grow. Get back to flipping furniture because you know in your heart that is where it all started and that is where the biggest fulfillment personally comes from To watch your vision become a reality is what we each strive for no matter what walk of life we are in. Beyond proud of you guys for coming this far this fast. Now sit down take a deep breath and get back to what makes you smile the most. Best wishes 💕💕
Consider offering a good amount of smaller furniture pieces such as night stands, sofa tables, etc and then a large amount of interesting unique smalls as people want to buy something and maybe they are not in the market at that moment for furniture but they are seeing what you have for future purchases and they can walk out with something from your shop as those smaller purchases add up to paying the bills.
I love your store, from what i can see here. Suggestions: set up a couple of room vignettes complete with lamps, accent pieces, artwork above the sofa, end tables, sofa, side chair, rug. Price it as a complete room with a discount for purchasing the entire "room full for furniture" and have a list of separate prices, showing how much they could save buy purchasing the entire room.
I convinced my wife almost 2 years ago to quit her 9-5 and pursue her passion of furniture. This week alone we've done almost 10k profit off our sales. Super cool to see her grow her new business along side of me growing my online retro game store🎉
You two are such a great match in your personalities and kindness. I wish more folks were as thoughtful and engaging as Neiman, he’s an excellent communicator. I also adore how Lauren is so present when listening to others speak and how she prioritizes each person who is in front of her making each interaction meaningful. May sound strange to say that but our modern age has deteriorated true communication and thought provocation… ironically by at-our-fingertip technology that was created to bring more of us together. I think you guys are using it and your platform for good. Setting a great example of humanity, stunningly beautiful furniture aside.
The shop is great! Check your prices that they are good for your market. The one dresser you showed for 900.00 before paint seemed pricey. I also think maybe more small tables and end tables at a lower price point. But keep up the good work! Be patient and work your surrounding market. I have been reselling for years and it can be stressful but I love doing it! Keep up the good work!!!
some of the pieces are priced that way cause I know the value they hold. most of them are $300 or less as is. good idea for the smaller pieces. I think I will have to adjust what I flip here and there. thanks for your support!
Pieces are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, remember most people don’t have your vision of what they could be and are seeing them for what they are, second hand furniture. Shop looks great, wish there was something like it close to me. Good luck, you deserve it after all the hard work you’ve put in. @@FurnitureFlippingTeacher
I agree love the store and the furniture but prices seemed a bit high and the only true value comes from what people are willing to pay for it. Anyone who has been watching your videos knows what you used to buy restore then sell them for and the prices now reflect your new overhead more than the "value" of a piece of furniture. Not that I don't understand business I do I'm just saying don't get discouraged for slow sales your changing your clientele. Facebook buyers are looking for deals and your now marketing to the next economic level of buyer might take some time.
People, just remember that she has to pay rent and bills, pay trucks to bring her furniture (pick it up and drop it off) and pay people to help her. There’s a lot involved!
@@noraevan6076yes, there’s lot involved but having more lower priced items will bring in more people. You’ll sell way more if shoppers thought they’ll get a deal. Take a house that’s $800,000 vs a home that’s priced at $250,000. The lower priced home fits within more people’s budgets so it’ll go faster. I’d rather sell lots of lower priced items than wait a year to sell a piece priced at nearly $1000.
❤❤❤. Now, your “home” is a place of relaxation and reflection. You just need to twist your mind around what “used to be” and grasp the joy of being able to “go home”, after a long day, and chill. Best wishes for future success.
You have so much to be proud of. Your growth will evolve as you evolve as a business owner. Don't second guess your choices. Trust the process, listen to your intuition and stay true to who you are. Your business plan has a tremendous amount of branches and you've climbed every one to get you to where you stand today. You will continue to climb because that is who you are. YOU'RE AN INSPIRATION. All the best to you.❤
Couldn't help but enjoy how Lauren caressed the velvet on the sofa while you were talking. You've done a great job. As they say, build it and they will come.
Creating sample finishes that people can look at in the store helps sell custom furniture. Most people have a hard time visualizing what a coat of paint will look like on furniture, but holding a 4” swatch sample next to a dresser or chair, etc. can really help. Letting people buy a swatch can also help sell furniture because they can take it home and look at it next to the other colors in their home or office space and feel comfortable knowing the color will or will not work in their space. Keep it up and don’t forget your customers. They are what make you successful every step of the way. Give each the attention they deserve and it will benefit you forevermore.
You two did a very nice job! I understand your disappointment in your initial sales. I rent space in a shop and sell my artwork and always feel like my expectations are too high. In your case, your successful youtube channel is not where you should expect your customers to come from. Your members want to learn how to flip. I think you will find your customer for furniture in time. *Just a thought...maybe you should include pieces (decor) from local artists!* Congrats!!!
I think you nailed it. Most of the store front customers will be local and not always us You Tube followers who live 1000+ miles away. A new store takes A LOT of time and patience to build up a strong customer base and reputation. Drawing people in by selling furniture on Facebook Market Place will also help spread the word locally.
Love your local artist idea! That could be profitable to the artist and the store! I am currently working on a jewelry armoire that was my moms, she passed away in July, and I am decorating and painting it on the outside with my mother's favorite flowers, gardening was her love, and I am adding photos (decoupaging) of my mom and my daughter together I had printed on canvas to the inside doors. It will be a gift to my daughter with pieces of special jewelry my mom wanted her to have.
Great job, guys! I think what may help with Right-sizing your expectations is to see that your customer base for your physical store is not much smaller than what you are used to with your online and Maketplace customer base. You're acclimated to TH-cam - sized growth and support. Give yourselves time to adjust. A small start, a slow start is not a prediction of failure. Utilize all of the platforms you already have customer bases through to advertise and search for more platforms. I'm glad you've been blessed by those who could be there to help you in person. May you continue to seek out and acknowledge the daily, weekly blessings.
Are you still listing your items on Facebook? I think that would be great and definitely be needed until you get things rolling. You have so much knowledge when it comes to that! The only difference is they just have to come to a store-front instead of coming to your home.
You were my inspiration to refinish a couple of furniture pieces that came close to being set out for trash. I followed your instructions to repair the damaged surfaces. All of your recommendations worked. I used Beyond Paint and Dixie Bell as finishing products supported by wood fillers and cleaning solutions. The beauty of the furniture pieces were fully were restored. Everyone was impressed with the outcome. Congratulations on your new business endeavor and best wishes on continuing success. You both did a tremendous job!!!
Love your story and how you are “painting your way to a brighter future” ❤🎉🌈🌟and yes I totally 100% agree on supporting your local community and businesses 👍🫶🏻🇺🇸
If you've ever tuned in to Lone Fox on TH-cam, it's a great place to see someone who curates home decor and does "drops" to sell his collection periodically.
I'm wondering if maybe the price of the base furniture Should be more in line with a nice used piece of curated furniture And perhaps the finished work done furniture would more reflect the custom nature of the process because when you said the price of that dresser, I had real sticker shock. The prices of your finished furniture make absolute sense to me but the use furniture is still used furniture and I am pretty sure that the fact that it is curated and I am assuming cleand it's going to impact the price hundred dollars for a used dresser? Maybe that 1 was particularly special. And I just don't get it. But that seemed really really high. Your finished pieces have always seemed quite reasonable knowing the work and everything that went into it. I know that finding it and curating. It is not without its own value. I just don't know if people who are buying a piece of used furniture will appreciate it quite as much as nine hundred dollars, Everybody appreciate somebody else doing the hard work of painting. This is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth to you. As always, I wish all good things for you guys and I hope I get to see your store someday❤
You said exactly what I wanted to say. If you need furniture, you can thrift almost enough to furnish an entire home for 900 dollars. But when Lauren refinishes a piece it definitely ups the value.
One thing you might not be considering is that some of these pieces are worth more due to the brand. Some antique pieces are worth thousands because the brand no longer exists but was known to be exceptionally made. I paid $100 for a used buffet and a carpenter happened to visit my home and I caught him looking at the piece. He asked if he couls look at the back where he found a name and serial number. It turned out the piece was worh $12,000. I moved the following year and got an even $10,000. from a knowlegable buyer who had a matching China cabinet.
Loved watching you have what felt like a cozy fireside chat in your brand new store! You probably always need to have a comfy couch in that spot for regular video chats and updates. It's absolutely amazing what you two, together with friends and family, have pulled off in just 3 months. Congratulations! 🎊 👏 🎊 Can't wait to see what the future brings for you!
You both are so awesome! Four-nir WILL be a success. Just like you're always telling us - Be Patient. And we will continue to be here to support you!! 🥰
I love the conversations of reflection, improvement, and gratitude. You both are blessed with family, friends, talent, and tenacity! I hope 7 months after filming the videoyour expectations and experience are more inline. ❤ An option to manage your time with customers would be to offer office hours when your "available" to customers. Best of luck on your journey!!! 🎉
Caution ⚠️ when using glass for candles make sure you use glass rated for high heat. The carnival glass bowl could shatter with too much heat, it is a huge liability for your company. It’s seems like a neat idea but I recommend staying with only high heat rated glass, using metal is also dangerous it could get hot enough to catch furniture on fire. Candle fires are very common and candle manufacturers get sued all the time. You’ve worked so hard, have due diligence with your candles.
So proud of you guys for continuing to expand yourselves and your dreams. When you were talking about your high expectations not quite being met, I couldn't help but wonder what your advertising efforts are or have been in the last weeks. I think that you already know that the value in what you do is in the lessons learned as much as pieces sold. I know that doesn't pay the bills but eventually it will. You have the good work ethic and gain important perspective everyday. It will pay off big time, money wise, eventually.
Have you considered contacting local Artists that make unique beautiful items and see if they would be interested in putting their creations on consignment that way you carry items from artists that create items you all don’t make so there is no competition with your things but add lots of variety with no up front costs for you all. You make a percentage of what you sell of theirs and they have a place to showcase their talents.
This is an excellent idea, cross promoting is extremly smart and because they have so much square footage I would be looking at all the various ways to cross promote with other non competing local businesses.
Jamie ray vintage has a retail store. And she started out doing the same thing you did. Only was to support her family not to pay off the student loans. But she now has a retail store and it might want to tune in to see what she's up to. She is in utah
Congrats, kids! It all looks lovely, and really like the separate areas for furniture, aromas, paints, etc. Since you asked, suggestions for future scents: sandalwood, patchouli, and amber. Wishing you all success with your new endeavor! ❤
As a French Acadian from Nova Scotia, I think you pronounce fournir perfectly considering you aren’t francophone. The secret to pronounce it with the french accent is to sort of “purr” the “r”s - “fourrrrnirrrr”. But again, I love how you say it ❤
I have been watching you right from when you were the kindergarten Teacher, also furniture flipping, not missed a single video, I have learned so much from you, just trying to buy a Spanish property. Want to keep the Spanish Vibe, but I will be furniture flipping for our house, thanks so much for the ideas, and the Tutorials you have posted here on TH-cam to help! Love to you both! Have a Very Merry Christmas, and A Happy New Year, a successful Year Ahead!! From Judy xx
I remember when I first saw you guys, a teacher, doing all that hard work and making beautiful art and loving it, you both seemed so shy,so soft spoken,he was always behind the camera. And Look where you are now. God Bless ♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
The prices seem really high, especially for the unfinished pieces. I can go to my local habitat restore and find items like you showed for 50.00 to 100.00.
Hey there Robin! To elaborate more on what you see as far as prices go - the pieces listed that are unfinished are for sale at the prices that you see because I will be making over those pieces at some point and selling for more. But in the case someone wants to purchase then they have that opportunity but now that is one less piece I will be able to make over. Opportunity cost they call it. Hope that provides a bit more clarity for you (: Thanks for watching!
I agree. Lauren the thing is, it is an opportunity lost, and potentially more lost for the future, if ppl are shocked at your stickers, and leave and don’t return. I’m sure most don’t get it that it’s an item that can be customized and be worth more. You will spend a lot of time “selling” ppl on that idea. And many are not going to pay that. Esp in this economy. I’ve started and had several businesses. I’ve always kept my prices low to draw in my customers and let them see my work. Then slowly I was able to increase my prices. I’m sure that’s how you have done it, and done it well, with your YT channel. Just my opinion. Good luck with everything.
I have noticed that most new businesses have super low prices when they first open to gain “word of mouth” advertisement as well as good reviews on google, yelp, etc. Then, raise their prices gradually. Also, I think if there was mostly already refinished furniture, there would be more sales.
Okay, after watching the last part with you guys on the couch, I understand how you feel about the high expectations and I just want to stress to you that advertising will need to be your main focus to get business. Lots and lots of advertising. Find unique ways to do it. Rewards too. But I hope you understand that TH-cam is not your main target to advertise to because most are from other cities, states, etc. and are mainly here for the videos. It helps for the online store, but for your physical store you need to focus advertising locally, next towns over, within 100 mile radius. Use craigslist, local town's magazines, farmer's markets, Facebook marketplace, like you probably have been, but expand even further for advertising. Also, you need to work and people will have to understand that you can't just shoot the breeze with them. Maybe make 1 day of the week specifically for a certain hour or couple of hours that people can come to talk to you and hang out in person and ask questions directly and advertise it as such to let people know you won't be available any other time while you are working. I know everything will work out for you both because you are very dedicated hard workers, and great entrepreneurs! 🥰
I’m late but Congrats🎉🎉🎉. I hope business is going well. I first started watching when you were doing the chairs to pay off student loan debt. God blessed you then and I’m sure he will continue to bless you with this. Awesome idea.
It would be cool to add lights inside that beautiful shelf you built behind the checkout counter. The glass would sparkle! You can even get easy battery operated LED stick on puck lights that are remote controlled. Just a suggestion! 👏👏👏
Do you think the prices will fit the type of customers you want to attract? I understand the work behind scenes and the dedication to perfect the piece , but the price points are much higher the Facebook market place .
First Congratulations I have been watching you guys for the last I say you around two years and I’ve watched all the different things that you have achieved. The value is in the people that you have motivated In different aspects of Furniture rehabilitation and flipping furniture. So I must say the hardest thing you guys have done and that is “ Starting “ think how hard it is for some of us just to get started in something they would love to do, but ( what if ) gets in the way. I know because I’m one of those people and I’m 68 years old, but you guys have given me new hope for myself. God bless you in all that you do. Victor’s Thinking. I’m on Facebook and I share you guys because you make me happy.
Just went to the website to purchase wax melts. It would be nice when ordering if you could go to previous page - say for instance you went to the cart to view items being purchased and you decided you want something else - without going all the way out to choose Aromas again (or whatever items you were looking at). Hope I’m expressing this clearly. Congratulations again! All the things you both mention in this video will develop over time. Not to worry! You’re both excellent in putting in the sweat for the reward. 😉
Omgosh! I know it’s a pain - I agree 🫠Unfortunately the platform we are utilizing to host our website doesn’t allow us to change how it functions in that way. I have this same bugaboo with websites I order paint from so I know exactly what you’re meaning. This is only the beginning 🥰 thank you Sheila!
First I’m late telling you CONGRATULATIONS ON OPENING YOUR NEW BUSINESS. IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS. I WAS HAPPY WHEN I CAME ACROSS YOUR CHANNELL, I WONT LOOSE YALL AGAIN. EVERYTHING IS GORGEOUS,love that you’re not tripping on anything while you shop. I Love, Love, the colored glass, is it gonna be for sale? Got to get back so I won’t miss anything. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE TOUR, OH YES,I LOVE THE BATH WITH THE BEAUTIFUL ROSES,LOOKS LIKE DONNA DEWBERRY S. WORK. I LEARNED HOW TO PAINT ROSES FROM HER ABOUT 20 years ago. JUST LOVE HER. IF YOU EVER WANT TO DO ANY DECORATING ON ANY OF YOUR PIECES, SHES ON YOU TUBE, AND HAS CLASSES OF ALL SORTS, ALOT ARE FREE, THEN SHE HAS CLASSES THAT ARE SPECIAL SHE CHARGES FOR. GOD BLESS YOUR NEW BUSINESS,ALL YOU GUYS, WISHING YOU THE BEST👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Gosh. Big leap of faith. I sure hope that you consulted with people in the furniture biz. Best of luck. "If you don't take risks, you're not living!" --the late Harry Chapin
WOW!! It is said; "If you want to be happy with your job, choose something you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life!" I'm SO impressed by your creativity and admire how you've made your dream come true. I wish you both every happiness and much success in your furniture store. May "four - nir", be 'four - ever!! 😉 Happy Holidays! 🎉🎄🎨
Cranberry scented candle? You could make an exclusive four-nir scent too! You have fabulous color skills on the furniture. Just go with that as a start for any interior design elements you want to add to the showroom. Lamps would be a nice addition. Looking forward to watching you transform more furniture.
Hi from Australia. I love watching you restore furniture instead of it going to land fill. I love doing the same - although personally, I'm getting a little long in the tooth now. Just a word of advice, keep talking to each other and don't let the business come between you. If you love each other, don't let a business ruin your relationship, nothing is worth that.
I love the name and that you made it your own word by not pronuoucing it, as the french would. The store is beautiful!! You can tell how much love and thought was put into it.
Looks fantastic. Yes, only 1 week. It shall come. Workshops will probably be great too. You Tube has viewers from all over the world. Not everyone is close enough to get there in the first week...or ever but we all with you well for sure. Much success to you guys. Bless you
just found you guys......pausing to comment You SO WAY should have just in big letters no print off or anything. THAT DEFINITION!!!!!!!!! It is beautiful!
Great video! Glad the counter was moved to the front of the store vs the back. Two fragrances that would work for the diffuser and melting cubes (not candles) would be musk and lemon.
Congrats on your continued success. I've watching you since "the driveway days" and I will continue to watch because you and hubby are so warm and talented. Thanks for the video.
That was great. I live in Georgia now, but I was born and raised in Omaha. So I will have to come check you out the next time I’m in town. Best wishes in your brick & mortar store. You can do it!!
Opening at Christmas time is tough, most people don’t buy furniture at Christmas. When you are starting out you are so excited for all of your dreams to come true but there is the reality of running a business. Best of luck.
You guys are so inspiring and put out very helpful instruction for success in redoing furniture! Im thrilled for your success and proud for you guys for your store front👍💜
You two are wise beyond your years! Having an on-line store and continuing TH-cam and all other social media outlets will continue to expand your reach. MERCH! Eventually, marketing your personal unique branding to bring in revenue showcasing your celebrity status. T-Shirts with your likeness… I’d love to have Babble Head figures of you both! SERIOUSLY! Thank you for being so inspiring! B~}
You two are so freaking amazing! This is and can be terrifying, so many questions that yet to have answers and so with the excitement take some deep breaths along the way. You will be so successful it is a delight to see the beginnings and hear your thoughts and see your progress, who knew 4 years ago this is where you would be today?!! Expectations, well hummmm yes we all have them the key is to moderate them as you are discussing, and try to enjoy each mini milestone along the way because one day soon I think you will be struck by everything you two have accomplished and you will know when you have “arrived” and met your expectations. Buying big pieces or sets of furniture outside of an established vendor like Ethan Allen or Macy’s is very new to most of us and so from a consumer standpoint the conversation you have with clients on how you ensure their piece(s) will arrive without damage is very important, also whether you can offer White Glove delivery is another key component for those of us that live alone and are only 5ft tall, we gladly pay for someone to help or to just move it in and unpack the pieces. I wish you all the luck in the world although I know this will be a success for you a bit of extra luck never hurt anyone right?
I think going forward the majority of the show room needs to be refinished pieces / a completely staged show room. Not everyone can visualize what a piece would look like refinished / in their home. Showing the customer helps sell at the higher price point. Unfinished pieces are in the back area. Congratulations on your new show room.
Congratulations!!! U hv truly earned this in ur four nir journey!!! Looking forward to watching more vlogs as u traverse ur furniture n aroma venture!!!!💗🤗👏🏽🎄🌺🌴🦩👍🏽🌷🙏🏽
I don't know if you've already done this, but it looked like the switches and outlets in the bathrooms need plate covers. The place looks fantastic! I think my fave is the paint brush wall. I'm looking forward to see you do some of your projects in the back room.
Excited to see you both excel in this endeavor👏👏👏 Bottom line is that most every fledgling business’s grace period is equal to the financial backing the owners have built into their business model covering that grace period. Overhead is relentless when one has an employee, rent, and utilities.
Things will fall into place as time goes by. One thing to consider to add to your merchandise and foot traffic is to bring in local artists or crafters work as displays or 10x10 space rental. Like the antique mall type of settings. Your furniture piece can serve as storage and display for lots of those products.
Many Blessings in your new store front. Blessings of prosperity in your business and success in your relationship as you grow together and navigate through the challenges of a new life chapter. Take care of each other.
One suggestion. You bought all that beautiful colored glass but it totally gets lost on those very dark shelves. If you painted the inside white, the glass would stand out beautifully.
I said the same thing about the shelf’s and glass
Same thought. Can’t really see the colored glass at all :/.
It’s an awesome collection, but it does get lost on the dark shelves. Certainly fixable….. you can do that in all of your spare time….. 😂😂😂 I’m exhausted just watching you guys.
also allergies to fragrances is a huge problem with scenting a room. I would have to walk out and never go back.

😲 wow. Good for her
I somehow stumbled upon your TH-cam Chanel today & have had you running in the background all day today. So informational!
@nancyk.6040 oh thanks!
Y’all have such charisma and your humbleness is touching. I wish I lived closer so I could visit your beautiful store. Good luck to you and God bless.
Hopes and dreams...are our imagination on overload. Each day, each moment will get better and better. You've built it and they will come.
Neiman is finally hitting his stride, contributing to the business where he excels at. Great partnership with Lauren .💯🔥🤗
he’s always been contributing just more so behind the scenes 😌
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher Indeed. Fun to see Nieman do his thing. Congratulations to both of you.
HAVE YOU GUYS THOUGHT ABOUT SELLING LAMPS. THEY WOULD LOOK VERY NICE ON TOP OF THE DRESSERS IN THE SHOWROOM 😊😊
Exactly my thought. Lower price point, would add some interest to the furniture displays.
*Just a thought...maybe you should include pieces (decor) from local artists!* Congrats!!!
thank you! We're going to keep learning this side of the business and growing undoubtedly. We are excited for what is ahead!
You still need to advertise
Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to make the trip from Wisconsin to visit the store!
I used Beyond Paint and Dixie Bell as finishing
products supported by wood fillers and cleaning solutions.
I love the Christmas tree with the dimmed lights and the velvet, orange couch! Such a beautiful scene
If you've ever tuned in to Lone Fox on TH-cam, it's a great place to see someone who curates home decor and does "drops" to sell his collection periodically.
Love him👔⚔
I'm wondering if maybe the price of the base furniture Should be more in line with a nice used piece of curated furniture And perhaps the finished work done furniture would more reflect the custom nature of the process because when you said the price of that dresser, I had real sticker shock.
Seriously impressive accomplishment and your level of maturity and integrity is truly heartwarming to watch ..your growth❤
I’m so excited to watch you more! I took and old dresser with no drawers but had good bones I painted it white and put baskets where the drawers were.
How is the b&b doing. Would love an update
An option to manage your time with customers would be to offer office hours when your "available" to customers.
I've mentioned this when there was a reveal that thrifted glass would be used to make candles.😢
I think the glass works well on the selves it just needs some back lighting to illuminate the coloured glass.
They should find someone to make those ceramic melt wax burners for them in different styles 😊
Jamie ray vintage has a retail store. And she started out doing the same thing you did. Only was to support her family not to pay off the student loans. But she now has a retail store and it might want to tune in to see what she's up to. She is in utah
Would love to get an update video a year on!! How’s things going? What would you do differently? What have you changed along the way etc ❤
Congratulations! You have come so far since your humble beginning. I am so happy for you both!
Congrats, kids! It all looks lovely, and really like the separate areas for furniture, aromas, paints, etc. Since you asked, suggestions for future scents: sandalwood, patchouli, and amber. Wishing you all success with your new endeavor! ❤
The dark wall unit is perfect. You have come so far. This is your vision not anyone else. Few could touch your creativity.
Store looks amazing! So proud of all you have accomplished. Wishing you all the best life has to offer. God bless you both.
As a French Acadian from Nova Scotia, I think you pronounce fournir perfectly considering you aren’t francophone. The secret to pronounce it with the french accent is to sort of “purr” the “r”s - “fourrrrnirrrr”.
But again, I love how you say it ❤
You two are FABULOUS ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
I love your store!
Keep doing what you do 🥰
I have been watching you right from when you were the kindergarten Teacher, also furniture flipping, not missed a single video, I have learned so much from you, just trying to buy a Spanish property.
Congratulations, yall prove that America is a great place for dreamers. Yall continue your success!!
I remember when I first saw you guys, a teacher, doing all that hard work and making beautiful art
and loving it, you both seemed so shy,so soft spoken,he was always behind the camera.
Hope that provides a bit more clarity for you (:
Thanks for watching!
You’ve come so far and not so long ago. Much continued success to you both.🎉
"a more disciplined and intentional man" -- very thoughtful and heart warming
Citrus scents: lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, tangerine please
The dark bathroom is my favorite- sooo beautiful
First I’m late telling you CONGRATULATIONS ON OPENING YOUR NEW BUSINESS. IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS. I WAS HAPPY WHEN I CAME ACROSS YOUR CHANNELL, I WONT LOOSE YALL AGAIN. EVERYTHING IS GORGEOUS,love that you’re not tripping on anything while you shop.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE TOUR, OH YES,I LOVE THE BATH WITH THE BEAUTIFUL ROSES,LOOKS LIKE DONNA DEWBERRY S. WORK. I LEARNED HOW TO PAINT ROSES FROM HER ABOUT 20 years ago. JUST LOVE HER. IF YOU EVER WANT TO DO ANY DECORATING ON

GOD BLESS YOUR NEW BUSINESS,ALL YOU GUYS, WISHING YOU THE BEST👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
I’d like to see your short definition of Four Nir on the wall somewhere because It is such a GREAT name and it says a lot!
Gosh. Big leap of faith. I sure hope that you consulted with people in the furniture biz. Best of luck. "If you don't take risks, you're not living!" --the late Harry Chapin
Congratulations..❤❤❤. Love watching all your videos. You are a inspiration
Congratulations and a good start. Furnier in German means veneer. So even in German it has something to so with furniture.
WOW!! It is said; "If you want to be happy with your job, choose something you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life!"
I'm SO impressed by your creativity and admire how you've made your dream come true.
I wish you both every happiness and much success in your furniture store. May "four - nir", be 'four - ever!! 😉
Happy Holidays! 🎉🎄🎨
Cranberry scented candle? You could make an exclusive four-nir scent too! You have fabulous color skills on the furniture. Just go with that as a start for any interior design elements you want to add to the showroom. Lamps would be a nice addition. Looking forward to watching you transform more furniture.
Congratulations!!
Loved the walk through and your presentation. Keep moving forward, I’m so excited to see more of your flipping. ❤❤
The painted paint sticks, GENIUS. 😅 You still have that pink ombre dresser!!!!!
it has sold since this video aired (:
Bless you
just found you guys......pausing to comment
You SO WAY should have just in big letters no print off or anything.
Bergamot is such a great candle scent!
You two are wise beyond your years! Having an on-line store and continuing TH-cam and all other social media outlets will continue to expand your reach. MERCH! Eventually, marketing your personal unique branding to bring in revenue showcasing your celebrity status. T-Shirts with your likeness… I’d love to have Babble Head figures of you both! SERIOUSLY! Thank you for being so inspiring! B~}
The space looks great and everything is nicely spaced out.
Your families and friends rock! They worked hard!
I think going forward the majority of the show room needs to be refinished pieces / a completely staged show room. Not everyone can visualize what a piece would look like refinished / in their home. Showing the customer helps sell at the higher price point. Unfinished pieces are in the back area. Congratulations on your new show room.
you need to add candle snifters, to put out the candles, great looking furniture store
I'm so freaking happy for you both!! Congratulations on going for your dream!!❤❤❤❤
Looks so good! Love that you added a Christmas tree!! Best wishes as you move forward!!
You and your guy are so adorable together!!! You compliment each other so we'll! Sorry. I know that's off topic 😂
They’re not together anymore
Congratulations!!! U hv truly earned this in ur four nir journey!!! Looking forward to watching more vlogs as u traverse ur furniture n aroma venture!!!!💗🤗👏🏽🎄🌺🌴🦩👍🏽🌷🙏🏽
The lighting, floor, height of walls, and windows look Great!! I'll say it again: Happy for you!!! From your garage to this space. Best 🥰
I don't know if you've already done this, but it looked like the switches and outlets in the bathrooms need plate covers. The place looks fantastic! I think my fave is the paint brush wall. I'm looking forward to see you do some of your projects in the back room.
Team work is everything? Great partnership! Togetherness! Great job you guys, amazing energy, GOOD LUCK~
Excited to see you both excel in this endeavor👏👏👏
Bottom line is that most every fledgling business’s grace period is equal to the financial backing the owners have built into their business model covering that grace period.
❤Paint brown glass shelves ❤love this show God bless you guys❤
Where did you find the wall paper for the bathrooms? Love both but the black floral is my favorite.😊 Store really looks great
New chapter
New stories
New adventures
God bless

Congratulations to you both 😊
Congratulations! Looks really great! You’re so talented and this really shows off your hard work.
Many Blessings in your new store front. Blessings of prosperity in your business and success in your relationship as you grow together and navigate through the challenges of a new life chapter. Take care of each other.
