Spent a lot of time hiking, climbing, backpacking there in late the 90s / early 00s. Its a long hike up that road. I think I recognized some of those rocks, lol. Thanks for posting and the memories! 👍
One cannot forget Como Road no matter how hard they try 😂. Thanks for watching and I'm glad it helped bring back some memories. I love the area once you get up to Lake Como!
@@HikinginColorado I went up to Lake Como several times. Wish I could go back, but that's a remote chance. Worst mosquitoes I ever encountered in the Rockies was there late in the season. I did meet several great people and some incredible (and strong) climbers there.
New sub. Headed to Ellingwood/Blanca in 10 days. Im going from Zapata Falls side. My first 14er. Im excited, and a bit nervous. Route finding isnt one of my strengths. Nice vid!
At 9:22, there is a lake, bottom right of the video. This is Lily Lake accessed from the Huerferno Valley to the southeast. Question - can you access the ridge to Blanca from the lake? It looks accessible and you can drive to within about 4 miles from the lake, eliminating the Lake Como rd.
Beautiful footage sir, appreciate the hard work

It was a beautiful weekend! There were little to no clouds every day I was up there. Thanks!

Nice buddy, I'm enjoying the upgrades in production quality! Some beautiful hiking shots of you from a stationary camera.
Thanks, Ben! I am saving up for one of the Panasonics you recommended to me awhile back. Hoping to have it by the new year!
