A time lapse video of how to clean and clear an overgrown garden in London.I used a flymo hedge trimmer to get rid of the thick bushes and nettles.
The garden transformation and makeover of this overgrown back yard was carried out over two days. It included cutting bushes, hedge trimming and clearance of overgrown grass. There is now a part two uploaded on my channel. Clearing a garden 2020.

Hahaha
Me too 🙁

You are not alone. Me too
Glad to know i have more people in the same boat here 😝
This post inspired me to watch more people cleaning and clearing their yard. Well done lads
A lot of work went into this garden, the difference is amazing! There's no doubt in my mind that your back was killing you after that.
My back was killing watching xx
That's a hard working man. Glad to see.someone who gets out there and gets the job done.
Thankyou
Ive no idea why im watching this but its strangely satisfying.
Yes
because pandemic
That took me back!!...it Reminds me of my own garden when I moved in twenty years ago!!! I did it by myself and it took me weeks to chop it all down!
It’s a beautiful garden now, and I love sitting out in it watching the birds feeding on my bird table. Very tranquil.
Hope you get it exactly how you’d like and get joy from being in it after all your hard work.
I love no music. I like the little speeded-up noises.
I could not believe it when I noticed that there was a concrete path underneath all of those weeds. Lots of patience makes a great job, and you accomplished it well.
Love that there’s no annoying music. Well done on a great job.
I love the way you do videos! I hate to listen to someone tell us what they are going to do, then do VERY little! You do a GREAT JOB!!! Thank you so much!!! 🤗🌲🌳🌿
Wow..the 1st day the man accomplishes a lot. Major difference. Much hard work.👍
There's something so satisfying about just standing and watching a fire burn. 🔥🔥🔥
I don't get why they didn't just burn the grass and brush too.
whenever I happen to pass by an overgrown garden like this, I think to myself "Damn, I would love to clear this mess", but then I remember that not only is that hard physical labor (something I have absolutely no experience with) but it is also WAY louder than in a TH-cam clip with adjusted sound and takes MUCH longer than the 15 minutes I manage to sit through before I get up to clear out the fridge ...
This was SO satisfying! But I want to see the finished product! We LOVE side by side before and after pics!
I like watching stuff like this it's very therapeutic
Love that no matter what you were doing, you never let the fire get out of control!! That was great. Bet it felt good getting rid of that hedge!! That was out of control!! You guys did GREAT!!! Looks SoOo GoOod
Wow, shows how important it is to have the right tools and a strong body.
Now THAT was an over grown yard cleanup...Job well done!!!
I don't believe what I just saw. A sunny day in London. Oh, nice work too.
thankyou
Two days work, that should of been at least two weeks work, u guys are great, with just a hedge cutter, and a rake,
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 67 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼 🖤🖤🖤
Fire gets tipped out of bin....Siren.....London's Burning! I would have used a brushcutter and saved my back! Am working on an overgrown place currently, hidden ornaments and old tools and pots everywhere! It is more like an archaeological dig. Had to stop using the brushcutter to save ruining the blade, So satisfying, clearing gardens like this.
I like watching like this... cleaning garden, river, forest... anything
great idea with the burn pile. great job.... hello from Indiana USA
That's what I call a proper before and after!!
Well done guys , take no notice of the negative responses , some people got nothing better to do than criticise , I’ve just subscribed .
Thanks Kenneth, they dont phase me. Thanks also for subscribing
Old mate having a smoke as soon as his mate buggered off, legend
I’m currently clearing a 90 x 30 feet plot of these b*****d bushes. But you got to dig out the roots or they’ll be back! Enough work to keep me going for a few months.......
Well done that man.
Lots of hard work and resilience to keep going. At last, someone with pride in their property.
Thankyou
Respect, that garden was transformed. And in 2 days!
Thankyou and thanks for watching. Part 2 is now up

Sorry to hear that mate. Thanks for watching.
It’s like watching a sim character sped up after you give it a bunch of chores to do
I watched this to the end ! 🤷♀️...which led me to watching other garden makeovers...and decided that this is one of the most realistic garden makeover vids out there...do you get what I mean.🤷♀️.
Yes, because I have to make a burn pile to get rid of all trash. Don't worry I keep the water hose handy.

Well done lads that's a lot of grafting
You've done a really great job there! My London garden looks similar to that one. I'm deciding whether to get it done now, or to wait until the Autumn when things have died back a bit.
Omg he had to done lot of work but he do great job.thumbs up bro.
Looks so much better ..great job 👍
Absolutely wonderful transformation, well done.
Thanks
How I wish it were that fast in real life.
Wow, I was exhausted just watching you 2 work, amazing stamina!
Thankyou and thanks for watching. Part 2 is now up
WOW.....JUST WOW!!! Great job!
Back breaking work - well done
Thanks
I bet some goats could have taken out the overgrown foliage in a few days, leaving goat droppings to feed the soil. However, they aren't great handymen, and would thus not be able to remove the crappy shed down the back. Obviously, that also makes goats lousy at plumbing.
Anyway, good job, lads. The yard looks a LOT better than when you started work.
Lol thanks a lot mate. 👍🏾 also put your the second part today with artificial turf. No more cutting grass again! And wouldn’t be very good for the goats gut either lol
That only looked like 2-days work because he had the video on fast forward it really took him 2 months.☺
I would have been suffering from hayfever, Good job done.👍
I was just thinking that. Should of got some goats.
We who clear out gardens, we all admire a fire. Not too close to anything to be kept and with a bucket or three of water filled and ready.
Very good transformation!👏👏👏
Awesome clean up and video
You must be surprised when you found the Shed in the back garden 😂😂
Or a bike!
Episode of Life without People...The Return!
Watching this while my garden turns into the amazon.
Looks great. Job well done.
Was this all in one day, wow look how overcrowded it was from the beginning and the work you put in .... too awesome and skilled. Who was the other guy?
Mandy Ado it was a jungle lol. He’s an old friend from Dominica
A great clearance, and very entertaining!
You look like Sim in fast forward mode 😄 great job!
This is oddly satisfying to watch.
That was awesome work ❗I thought there might be someone in that shed 😳 It's nice now they can use the clothesline again 😆
I am amazed you can have a burn pile in your yard. We can't do that where I live in California.
Nanana annncy not likely to start a wild fire in wet green London.
I know! the burn barrel. Old school California 🔥🔥🔥🔥😎. Honestly thought would scare up a large animal. My sister found an above ground POOL when she bought a hose like this🏚
Most cities won't let you. I'm especially amazed you can do it in London, which had such huge air pollution issues in the past!
You are a garden clearing legend!
Way to go Good Job!!!
That was very entertaining and interesting you guys sure know how to work hard! I hope you enjoyed a cold drink or two!
Great job, thank you for the idea and inspiration
Wow lots of hard work but that FIRE, OMG
Fantastic achievement
I dont know why im watching this but its strangely satisfiying.
i think its the thought that the garden went without attention for probably years, and nature reclaimed it, but then these two went in an before our eyes cleaned it up.
Wow that was alot of work, you did a great job 🤙
Great work! Can't wait to see how the landscaping goes.
making way for newer breed of weed ..😆
I bet he found another family living back there that he didn’t know about and didn’t put it in video.
😄😄😄😄👍
There r hundreds of families
Of snakes and insects 😂😂😱😱
That's what I've got coming! Your psychologically preparing me lol. I'd of burned the asbestos too 😜👍🏻
Brilliant video. Thanks.
