Hi Chris, I've just bought a round... Chap wanted 3x for around 3k per month of work... I met with him, he agreed to take 50% of the money up front, then he sent all customers a letter to say I was buying his customers..He then took me to every house and introduced me to as many as we're home where I have them an introduction letter.. then I paid the other 50%.... I have not lost any as yet....so as far as I'm concerned it was a great deal...
Good video chris, people are always debating about cost of buying work, I don’t think there is any right or wrong answer aslong as the purchaser & seller are both happy and everyone has put their cards on the table. Personally myself I wouldn’t buy any work , it’s not my cup of tea but it works well for others 👍
Hi buddy , gotta say up until 3/4yrs back windows rounds selling in Leigh for 10 times was the norm . A good few years back a local round of bungalows went for 18 times In lowton just down the road from me
That mental to me bud. I mean if you break it down, it would take 11-12 months to break even...fair play to lads and lasses that are happy to part with that kind of money. But a round is only worth what someone will pay for it
Whats your verdict on kingdom canvassing mate, and buying rounds off them. They canvass then horizon do the cleaning until they can sell the rounds. Opinions gents please doing DD before i go in. 👍🏻
I've never dealt with them. But if you look at each company based on its merits, do your due diligence etc you can get some good deals. I'd be sure to be as detailed as possible when telling the canvasser what kind of customer you're looking for, how you take payment, your terms etc. No right or wrong answers in this game
Youve put me off 😂, so are we saying all these for sale at 5-6-7times is too much. Thinking of getting into the industry. Looking at buying to begin with. Thoughts please gents.
No I'm saying "i won't pay more than 3 to 4 cleans". There are many who agree and many who disagree, but I look at being able to turn a profit on a round in 4 to 5 months.
personally I wouldn’t purchase and take over a round again due to the fact most are reluctant to any form of change and reject a change in price It was an absolute nightmare Luckily I sold the last round off with a profit 🙏🏻
Found through Sid - great channel subbed.

Chris your assuming it’s monthly
Ild imagine the 18 cleans would have been trad bi weekly
The 10-12 cleans generally comes on commercial work there’s a lot more variables than what people say run of the mill wfp work should be 3-6
If that works for you, good stuff
Wouldn’t buy it at that but just saying I know of rounds that have sold at them price points

I don't think it's a problem if you're careful. There's always a calculated risk with anything like this though
Turnover is easy to buy profit is more difficult! Can't see it being worth buying work at more than 3 or 4 times monthly. Just too risky.
That's my line of thinking...not saying I'm right or wrong, but I would like to see the return as soon after purchase as possible
@@ChrisAddis Forgot to say Buy 2 let isn't all roses!!
@@ched999uk didn't say it was...just said it was a better way of getting a return on £75k
@@ChrisAddis True.
Nice analogy mate 👍🏻
Cheers buddy. Saw some of your pictures on LinkedIn. It's good that you're busy
